Given how well England have done in the last three major tournaments, and that we appointed a manager with the sole aim of taking the final step forward and winning something, I expected to feel more positive going into the WC.

Final, quarter final, final had elevated England to a place we're unused to - being one of the favourites and then actually doing well. But right now, I feel that I don't really know what this team is about, what our starting XI is, how we play or what our identity is. And my expectations are much lower than I thought they would be.

Just me, and maybe I'll get more excited as the tournament nears. Are others feeling more optimistic? Do we have faith in Tuchel?

We have a PM that will definitely lead the party into a crushing defeat at the next election. Rightly or wrongly, the country hates him. And he can’t change. He has no hopeful vision to share with people and even if he did he couldn’t communicate it. And he’s rubbish at politics

Fortunately for him, everyone else is rubbish at politics too. The stalking horse threatened a contest and then wrote a letter. The challenger mobilised his troops and then is having a meeting.

Meanwhile the bond rates are spiking (which costs us all money, remember) and everyone is laughing at us.

There are two options: get rid of Starmer now or shut up and get on with it. Nothing else.

This is just awful right now. Govt is paralysed, media obsessing, losing even more voters by the second.

Hello. Have had my Hive for a few years. I have the thermostat but used to manage it through my iPhone app. But since they updated the app I cannot find my heating schedule. Where the hell is it?

I play this game regularly and lose every single time. I am not kidding. I have decent cards, but am dogshit. My opponent's team is always quicker to the ball. they are always faster runners than my players. Whenever I receive a pass, there are three opponents constantly on my man. I miss every tackle, they make all of theirs. I can never select the right player. All of their shots go on, all of mine get saved.

I am in my 50s, so my reaction times are slow. I also keep trying to play football like they play is in the real world, instead of play for this game. But man, it's hard work.
