Man City has failed to score the three points they need to stay in the hunt. For the first time since 2004, Arsenal, the generational bottlers of England, are champions! A team from London (better yet, a team that is not Man City or Liverpool) has won the Premier League for the first time since Chelsea in 2016. Pandora's Box is opened. They earned it. And with them going to Budapest, they might just as well have a chance to shed their choking habits in Europe as they did in the Premier League. Fuck you, Kroenke!

Congratulations also to Bournemouth who will be playing at least in the Europa League next season. Unfortunately for them, Man City spoils their Champions League ambitions with a late goal to tie it up. With one point gained, they are now three points back to Liverpool, who would almost be certain to go on unless Liverpool loses and Bournemouth fucks around and makes up a goal differential of 6.

And as for Man City. it's over. Guardiola is gone, and you're gonna have to live with his less-impressive bald doppleganger Enzo Maresca. Enjoy those 115 violations whenever the League gets around with a ruling. Get fucked!

I know we give a lot of flack for Amazon because they produced some very, VERY atrocious dubs dating from last year, but I like to see things on the other side.

I think this anime will have an LA dub. It is likely anyway, but I am certain because of a couple of reasons.

1. Prime is licensing it, but Bandai is distributing it. It's going to be the same arraignment as Gundam GQuuuux. That series had NYAV Post producing the dub. And Bandai (at least their former subsidiary) has had a good track record for dubs in general (Lucky Star, Gurren Lagaan).
2. It's a BIG property. Even more so than Fist of the North Star. If Amazon screws this up, they will never recover from this.
3. Science Saru. They are one of the most talented animation studios in the world. They made Dan Da Dan and the Scott Pilgrim anime, both of which are popular for the English audience and had top-notch dubs.

Simple and plain. Amazon, DON'T FUCK THIS UP.

Man City drops two points as they tie Everton. A last second goal saves Man City from absolute humiliation. The championship lead is back up to 5 with Man City having one more game. Arsenal has probably the easiest fixture left in the league.

DAAAAAAA Yankees lose another core piece of their dynasty identity. It was announced that the longtime radio announcer for the Yankees, John Sterling, has passed away at 88. He was associated with the Yankees since the 1970s and was the radio announcer since 1989 all the way up until the 2024 World Series. He is up there with George Steinbrenner, Bob Sheppard, and the old Yankees Stadium in the big baseball field in the sky. Rest in peace to the GOAT.
