What do you all think of City Pop? It's a genre that blends Japanese Pop with Jazz. I personally really like it.

Early Progressive Rock is very rich.
On the Rate Your Music (RYM) website, there's an option called "archival releases" where you can see works that were released ten years or more after their creation. Filtering by "Progressive Rock" reveals gems, albums that were recorded in the 60s, 70s, and 80s and released much later; it's incredible how rich the Progressive Rock of that era is.

Recommend some "pure" Progressive Metal bands to me.
Many Progressive Metal bands blend other genres, such as Death Metal, Black Metal, etc... With that in mind, I'd like recommendations for bands that are purely Progressive Metal; they can even incorporate other genres, but that genre shouldn't be a major focus in their music, more of an influence.
