Tips for mushroom farming

I'm doing a play through as humans and I have my bread and meat production under control. I've got mountains near my city and considering putting in some mushroom farms in to vary my available foods.

Is there any tips for optimizing mushroom farm construction to make the most of it?

Is there much value in making neighboring cities vassals under my protection?

Have a couple of smaller cities near me that I can make a vassal under protection. I know I'll get money every year but is there much other benefit from making them a vassal?

Can I still trade with them? Also can they just decide to go independent? I'm just wondering if it's worth the money,

Mods like Antistasi

Hi. I play a lot of Antistasi in the past and am wondering if there's any new mods for A3 that are similar to Antistasi?

How are businesses getting away with listing in areas they're not located

Hello. I've noticed recently some local business which somehow have their businesses listed in areas they're not located. For example one was located in a park, another one why listed on a highway but with no number. Another one was just listed on a main street but again with no number.

Having set these up in the past and jump through so many hoops, I don't know how these sorts of listings manage to show up in local search. Like how do they manage to do this?

How many cities should you actually occupy?

I've currently got around 3.5k pop and I had been going around and occupying every city I could. But I didn't really understand Gov points at all and ended up with 25 occupied cities stretched all over the map. Some of these I was able to build up and get some needed resources and others I couldn't.

Then I started thinking that maybe it's a drain trying to occupy every city if I don't understand how it effects my kingdom.

What should I be trying to aim for?

Trying to work out what to make for export

I'm playing as humans with around 2k pop. At the moment we're getting a lot of timber importing in from out occupied cities. I put a lot of tech into carpentry and was making good money exporting. Built a few paper makers also to make use of the excess timber and to use for export.

Now though my furniture and paper exports aren't bringing in money and my income is declining. I want to ask what should I focus on in order to keep making money from exports.

I have diamonds and stone in a mountain that I have Garthimi slaves mining. There is also Sithilon, ore and coal in the same mountain but I'm not currently mining that as I get coal from one of my cities and I dont want to over extend my slaves by trying to mine too many different things.

I have thought about making bows to use that excess wood but would need to import a stead amount of leather.

We produce a good amount of wheat and also get a bit from occupied cities and make a lot of bread and I use that to feed my city.

Any advice would be great as my city is at a big of a turning point and I need to keep good cash flow coming in.
