Has anyone taken a emergency contraceptive pill and had acne as a side effect? I took one a week ago and never since I’m breaking out so so bad I get the occasional acne before my period but never this bad I know it messes with your hormones but I was just curious if anyone else has gone through the same thing/ how long did it take to clear up
My daughter (5 about to be 6 ) was on Ritalin at first it worked then it stopped the doctor increased and decreased her doses trying to find the sweet spot well there wasn’t a sweet spot and then we just ended up taking her off medication since summer is coming up by suggestion of a psychiatrist for a “break” her last day of school is Thursday and at first she was fine without the meds now this week she has been absolutely horrible having screaming melt downs about the most random things for example last night she had a melt down because she didn’t get to turn on the shower I turned it off and offered her to turn it back on she wouldn’t and continued to cry and scream for the next 30 minutes it’s currently 2am and I was abruptly woken up by her in my bed telling me she hates me and I’m not her mom and other rude things she’s never done that before and she wouldn’t calm down she ended up just falling asleep she’s mentally draining me I know she’s burnt out from school (she has no behavior problems at school EVER) but I figured she’d be happy this is her last week she has been off meds for about 2 weeks this only started Sunday also she has a trip to the beach Friday she’s been ecstatic about now she’s not I’m just at a loss on what to do

Switching my 6yo daughter to Adderall tomorrow after 6 ish months on Ritalin Worked great for 2 weeks at best back to break downs everyday upped the dose didn’t work lowered it didn’t work either does anyone have any positive stories from Adderall? She’s a Angel at school for the most part but as soon as she gets home it’s game on screaming crying being disrespectful I’m at my wits end currently writing this at 1am because she refuses to go to bed And is just up not listening at all granted She’s better on Ritalin then no medication at all but not by much I feel defeated and her father refuses to give her her medicine on his court ordered weekends because he says she doesn’t have adhd that she just needs more punishment even though she’s been diagnosed by a licensed doctor..so when she comes back home after going there everything is a million times worse assuming because she hasn’t had her medication or because she has to mask her emotions with him possibly both I’m just fed up and really need opinions on the med switch
