I saw some clips of the channeling earlier that took place just a few days ago and my goodness it was fascinating as hell. I've been re-listening to a bunch of channeling from Willa and have found myself being very excited to start a journey of becoming a cryptic. So far I've spent the last few days finding my ideal tree that is within earshot of running water so I can really listen and feel the running water and wind rustling the leaves and syncing it with my own breath and heartbeat. I heard her mention before there are 9 steps to becoming a cryptic, one of the first of which is knowing deeply that the animal and plant domain really are family to us since we are expressions of nature in the same way the plants animals and rocks are. I figured the heat it generates could warm the area around it but the water going into it kept getting frozen and holy shit i realized mid way typing this I can just use insulated pipes. But there were other issues ass well having it in the cold biome

For context I am very new, because when I tried this game in the past I did not like it at all. It seemed absurdly complicated and nothing made sense to me so I discarded it. Many years later I come across it again this time I am more drawn to the art so I give it a more serious attempt by watching walkthroughs from people who know what to do, and oh my goodness everything opened up in a new way, and I am sure there is levels to that since the game is packed with content and mechancisms that work so smoothly together.
I have played a lot of rimworld and this reminds of that, but I think it is also me eventually later on in life accepting and cherishing the fact that I am very nerdy. Since if we're being honest here... you need to be nerdy as hell to really appreciate the gameplay since it's insanely versatile. has a massive learning curve, and can spiral into technical and chaotic pandemonium with lots of things happening.
Anyway, I appreciate that it's rated highly on steam and many others also recognize the absolute gem we get to enjoy here, I am looking forward to sinking my teeth into this fr
