Would love your advice for my wedding cake.
I'll be having a 8" + 6" two tier cake (bakery said it would be about 9-10" tall) with a 12" cake board to allow for piping.
I'm planning to purchase a cake stand but fear a 14" stand would make the cake small because it's just 8".
From your experience, would this look fine?
My estrogen level was at 4100 yesterday, morning of trigger shot. I came in for bloodwork this morning and it dropped to 2700. Dr said there’s a low chance that I ovulated prematurely but I should ultrasound before my retrieval tomorrow to double check all the follicles are still there. If not, then we would cancel.
Devastated and kind of pissed because I had a feeling I should have triggered a day earlier knowing my follicles were at its prime size the day before.
Has anyone else experienced an estrogen drop day before retrieval?

I'm contemplating sourcing table lamps instead but don't see many rental companies offering them. Anyone have any recommendations? Otherwise, would anyone want to purchase them from me (at a discount) after my wedding on Oct 11, 2026?
