Can Op Shops of Toowoomba pull their heads in

What in the power tripping fuck is going on with some of these op shops. I am not talking about all of the (thank you Widows, RSPCA and Tonys), but if you've been the Red Cross and Lifeline, it's as if they want to eventually toss stuff into the skip bins because they can't move on Anko clothes for $15 a piece.

If your grandma is one of the kind of volunteers that pockets all of the good stuff before bringing to the store, can you reality check her please.

Fine Dining with diet-friendly Set Menus

A few years ago, a small group of friends and I went to Rogue Bistro. Was super impressed with not only the quality of the food, but the experience was top notch. They were also able to accommodate for different dietary requirements at the same table (Vego, GF and pregnancy friendly)

When I look up other degustation experiences, most of them dont have any example set menus as to what they could be offering for other diets. Websites just ask you to ring ahead 24-48hrs prior to accommodate the option.

I honestly would go back to Rogue but keen to check other places out. Has anyone had experiences with other fine dining degustations (even alacarte) that has excellent dietary accommodation? TIA!

Growth vs Dividends

Hi, so assuming you have some extra savings coming in surplus to the monthly mortgage repayments and have built some savings in the offset to cover emergencies etc etc.

30+ year horizon before retiring so want to be able to grow investments outside super.

Does australia really have proper growth options in ETFS or otherwise that isn't a moon shot asx bet. Seems like most ETF options invest in companies that distribute dividends in australia and realistically growth options rely heavily on international make up. Reason for wanting to stay mostly australia is I am feeling to invest in economies I have greater understanding (and australia seems more conservative regulation wise than US for example)

I am keen to use growth ETFs for next 10 years then roll them into more income producing assets down the track when I want to reduce normal work.

If there are glaring issues with this approach, glad to hear it.

What business would you start today?

Ignoring if you are already in a different business, where would you personally look to start a business in the Toowoomba Region?

Where do you think the gaps in the market are or low supply?
