I used Nightblooming's Rusalki mix 8 days ago to cover my whites and give my fading natural strawberry blonde a boost. My hair looked amazing albeit a bit bright, but then noticeably faded after washing.

I followed Nightblooming's directions. I used distilled water with chamomile tea bags for the liquid. I only left it in my hair for 45 minutes after application was completed. My test strip was perfect with that timing. AND having used Light Mountain Light Red colour 5 years ago, 45 minutes was too long with that one because I ended up with a too bright, unnatural result.

I used the mermaid method to rinse out and then washed with silicone free conditioner to get all that mud out. My hair felt amazing and looked a bit bright but incredible. I washed with shampoo on day 3 and blow-dried, knowing that it could darken a bit. After washing I noticed many of my whites were completely white again. My lengths were faded and didn't/don't look like I used henna at all. Only parts of my roots have retained some colour.

(I'm in Canada, not sure that part matters... But following rules)

Honest Opinion, what do you think?

I have a handmade jewelry shop in Canada. Most of my pieces are vintage inspired, some lean a bit Goth. I've been selling successfully on Etsy for what will be 10 years in October. My Shopify has been active since February, but it's been SO slow.

I've tried Pinterest ads, Google ads (Performance Max and Shopping - still running Google shopping, but the PMax just sucked my money away) and the ads aren't getting sales. My best conversion has been simple online search. Rarely any abandoned carts - people tend to buy when they actually add to cart, but not that many sales...

Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Sudden Haywire bleeding on continuous HRT (in peri)

Wtf with the bleeding... I'm 52 and in peri. I've booked an appointment to see my provider, but it's not for a week. I've been on continuous HRT for nearly 2 years. Initially, my normal cycle persisted every 26-32 days. Over time, periods came further apart, like 40+ days.

Since March I've had random spotting, after missing my HRT one time. I thought things were settled, but then, I had a 75 day cycle but the whole time I had random brown spotting every two weeks. Now, two weeks after that fairly heavy period, I started spotting that has turned into bleeding like a period. Anytime I had spotting, I did notice bouts of ewcm that preceded the spotting, so I'm assuming estrogen surges.

But this is crazy, had I thought continuous HRT would help level my periods out and slowly they would disappear.

I just received my Henna (Rusalki by Nightblooming) in the mail today but the mailer was damaged and leaking henna all over the place. Any suggestions on what to store the remaining powder in until I use it?

I'm in Canada and this came from the US. I think it tore because the envelope appeared to be mashed and bent (!) to fit in my mailbox along with a bunch of other sad misshapen mail. I can only assume our postie was having "a day". Needless to say I'm not impressed with Canada Post right now... And the shipping wasn't cheap, so I'm pretty sad to have lost so much henna.

Brain Fog?! Blip? I typically remember everything, like disturbingly well. But, today I went to Physio at 11am and when told it was the wrong time, I insisted it has always been at 11. But no, it is at 2pm and always has been at 2. My old physio, from last year was at 11. Is this brain fog, or????

I have knee issues, so I've been seeing this Physiotherapist every Thursday at 2pm for about a month now. Last year I had other knee issues and saw a different Physiotherapist at 11am. How in the heck did my brain get this confused today?! I have it written on my wall calendar and I have a digital notification on my phone calendar.

I'm so embarrassed!! I insisted to the girl at the front desk that I've always gone at 11. She must have thought I was nuts.

I have been on continuous HRT for 1.5 years now and had periods every 22-36 days with more and more time between... I'm at over 65 days now, so maybe this is hormonal?

Vaginal estrogen at 75? My mum, aged 75 has stress incontinence. Has anyone started vag estrogen far into post menopause that has helped this issue? Her urologist said she's too old for vag estrogen now, but I wonder if she should push for it.

She has had frequent bladder infections since her mid-40's and frequent bladder leakage since then as well. She had a sling operation about 30 years ago. She tried the vag Botox injection last year but it worked so well she couldn't pee without forcing it, which caused a whole other problem.

More detail/background: she moved back to Canada and in with us November 2024. Our basement was renovated to her specifications, so she has her own safe space near us but separate for her independence. She has access to us anytime she might need help, etc. Most meals are with us upstairs.

Even so, she has a decent sized fridge/freezer, sink and air fryer down there for cooking - and she makes some weird concoctions, but that's besides the point. Food safety is questionable... Often we have to toss expired food/milk/sour cream/etc because she just keeps stuff and ignores mould and off odours.

She has left cooked food out overnight - on our stove upstairs (we disposed of it). Forgotten things in the oven upstairs, too. With the oven on, because she "thought it would turn off when the food was ready". We had to explain an oven is not the same as a microwave.

We are limited due to lack of venting down there and concerned about open vs enclosed cooking spaces, hence no stovetop. But not sure how to stop her from buying a hot plate. She's decided on an inversion one and has one of her friends telling her it's a "wonderful" idea.
