Hi everyone,
I’m working on a short project fun idea where I want to set up a rotating desktop wallpaper that shows Earth’s history in chronological order from the Hadean to today. (Just for myself, nothing commerical or anything).

To make it visually coherent, I’m looking for a consistent style of paleoart or reconstructed prehistoric landscapes (preferably from the same artist or art series).

Does anyone know of an existing paleoart series that covers multiple geological eras in a unified style or artists who have created full Earth-history visual timelines. Or collections of illustrations that could work as a chronological set?

Any recommendations or links would be really appreciated! I don't have the type of money to commission anyone, I was hoping a collection like this already exists out there, sorry to all the talented artists 😞

ich würde gerne einmal eure Einschätzung zu meiner aktuellen Situation hören.

Ich habe vor einigen Jahren über Tecis ein Depot bei FNZ (damals eBase) eröffnet. Dort habe ich aktuell ca. 5.500 € in folgenden Fonds:

• DWS ESG Akkumula (~800 €)
• Ökoworld Ökovision Classic (~470 €)
• Robeco QI Emerging Conservative Equities (~2100 €)
• Acatis Aktien Global (~2200 €)

Die Sparpläne dort habe ich inzwischen gestoppt. Die Fonds liegen da seit einer Weile nur rum und kosten mich.

Parallel habe ich ein Depot bei Trade Republic, wo ich aktuell ca. 1.500 € im FTSE All-World habe und monatlich 75 € investiere. Da ich bald mit dem Studium fertig bin und ins Arbeitsleben starte, rechne ich damit den Betrag bald zu erhöhen.

Zusätzlich habe ich ein Depot bei der Consorsbank (damals von meinem Vater für mich eröffnet, 200 € Telekom Aktien drauf). Grundsätzlich könnte ich alle Fonds von FNZ zur Consors übertragen.

Mein Ziel ist:

• weg von FNZ / Tecis
• möglichst einfache Struktur
• langfristig eher Richtung ETF

Ich überlege aktuell zwischen:

1. Fonds von FNZ zur Consorsbank übertragen und erstmal behalten, ggf. dort weiter besparen?
2. Fonds schrittweise verkaufen (steueroptimiert über zwei Jahre) und alles in ETFs umschichten

Ich tue mich etwas schwer mit dem „radikalen“ Schritt alles zu verkaufen, gleichzeitig wirken die Fonds aber teuer und unnötig komplex.

Was würdet ihr in meiner Situation machen?

I'm currently looking to buy a new smartphone and would really appreciate some advice.

My priorities:

• I'm trying to buy refurbished or second-hand
• I want a good camera for plants, especially close-up shots of flowers and details like textures or tiny hairs
• I read a lot of PDFs (sometimes 300–500 pages)
• I want something durable and long-lasting (ideally several years)
• Other than that, my usage is pretty light: WhatsApp, Spotify, reading, no gaming or heavy apps
• Budget is around 400€ (preferably less)

Right now I'm mostly looking at Google Pixel phones (Pixel 7, 8a, maybe 8 Pro) because of the camera and long software support.

I'm also considering installing GrapheneOS.

My questions:

• Which models would you recommend in 2026 for this use case?
• Is something like a Pixel 8a enough, or would a Pixel 8 Pro be worth it for better macro/detail photography?
• Are there good alternatives to Pixel I should consider (especially for camera + longevity)?
