i’m so lonely and i’m sick of trying.

i 21f have a bunch of friends who are in relationships, it sucks SO much, i wouldn’t say im conventionally attractive (which is probably part of the problem) my main issue is getting on dating apps and finding a guy i like and then he wants to “hang out” well obviously we know where that’s going so when i tell him i don’t do hookup culture i end up being ghosted.

there’s this guy who i think is really cute at my job but we work in 2 entirely different departments and he barely ever comes out of his because he’s always so busy, ive come across his instagram before and he’s single, as well as we have a ton in common with similar interests and he seems like a funny guy but atp there is no way in hell we will ever get close enough to actually talk and/or exchange socials genuinely so i’m about to just give up.

moral of the story i get im young and stuff so i have a bunch of time but at the same time i yearn for a special connection with someone, i like going out and doing things a lot and i would like to do them with someone in a romantic sense and not just a friend platonically, idk, it’s so hard to find a guy who doesn’t just want to hook up when it’s at my age and it’s horrible, im not even a save for marriage type of gal i just would like to actually like genuinely commit to something before sleeping with someone idk why that’s so much to ask for.

How to accustom hamster to holding?

I figure I must include a picture of the chunky monkey.. Anyways I am not a new hamster parent because I’ve had them plenty of times before, but now that i’m older I can finally give them the best care in the world. There is one problem though, I am deathly afraid of hamster bites, which might sound silly because I’ve owned a snake and even then the bite wasn’t that bad, but for some reason these little gremlins pack a punch in those jaws… So I’ve been bit before and when you get bit by a hamster especially in a finger you know it bleeds a LOT which is what I’m most afraid of lol.

I was wondering what the best ways to go about starting to get her used to handling would be? I would love to start holding her but I don’t want to stress her out or get bit, she’s honestly REALLY sweet, she always comes out when she hears me doing stuff and she loves watching me through her enclosure windows, and if I stick my hand in the cage and just lay it there she will always come sniff it for a few seconds and not really do anything. She doesn’t really like getting pet though, she’s still a little scared of that so maybe I should start there? I know she’s super curious of the outside of her enclosure so if I can start holding her I’d love to let her roam around on my bed or something. If you have any advice on what worked best for you then please let me know, she’s so soft and chubby I just want to hold her so bad lol.
