Haven't made a lot of friends over the years, and my daughter says I should get out there - wherever out there is, so I am taking a shot. I am from South Africa, but looking for penpals from all over!

So my daughter has introduced me to reddit, as apparently I need to talk to more people of my own age 😆. Not the best with technology I must say, but giving it a try.

Never been the best at making friends, so would definitely welcome any gender to reach out. Hopefully we have a few things in common.

A bit about me. 53yr old mother of two equally stubborn kids, like mother like children, who share an affinity for a laugh as much as I share the interest in reading. I am from South Africa, and have travelled all over the world when I was younger.

Since I was 5, I started reading books and that has grown into a massive collection of e-books I have. I enjoy knitting for my lovely cats and cooking for the family, being of a chubbier figure has made me quite confident in my chef skills 😆

I am not interested in ANYTHING sexual, so please refrain from that. Simply looking for fellow book lovers, or someone with a great sense of humour with whom I could share a laugh with over the tiniest things in life.

My profile does have a link to a photo of myself, as I adamantly stated to my daughter, people should be aware of the ghostly presence I carry haha.
