Hello! First of all, thanks for all the feedback to get the map to this point - it's been a blast and I'm super grateful!

A huge amount has been added, tweaked and moved about, including things that I'd never heard of, even though I thought I had spent a decent amount of time there haha.

Posting this as a new post for the last round of amends, then it's done.

A few of you have expressed interest in grabbing it, I will update when that's available, with mod permission, or again, I can be dm'd😊. Thanks to all who helped!

Hello! I'm working on a Tolkien inspired map of Somerset - part of a project of counties where I and friends have lived - and I'd love some help in feedback form!

Towns, historical sites, geographic features, flourishes, and anything else I can liven the space with, and any glaring mistakes haha.

A scale and such will be added, and a Somerset dragon in some form for example!

I've done similar on the Hampshire (where I currently live) and Surrey's and Berks subs and it was great fun, and I was hoping to do the same here, and otherwise just to share, its a fun hobby in dark days 😂

A huge amount has been added and tweaked ( although no Croydon, sorry!) from more hills and trees to historical and geographical points that were new to me.

Posting this update for a day of accepting new amends and tweaks, before it is done!

UPDATE: thanks everyone for the amends! I'll be busy with those for a couple days, then I'll be test printing it before making it avaibs, and will update here again 😊

Not everything will make it as I need to fit it all in if it fits the vibe, but I will do my best!

Hello! I am making a Tolkien inspired map of Surrey, and I had great help from r/Hampshire for a Hampshire version (where I live) that I was hoping for feedback here!

Towns, middle age ruins, abbeys, castles, geographical sites ( I do research these things but found I had missed things that mattered more to people!)

There are certain flourishes I tend to add at the end, maybe the county flower (I don't think there's an animal?)

But also I just wanted to share, I love doing it and Surrey is lovely!

After a great reaction to my Hampshire map, I am back with a more detailed version - I'd love to thank everyone who gave me feedback and i added as many amends as I could but I could only fit so much! Apologies if something is missed that you wanted!

Everything is hand drawn (sometimes painstakingly, hello hog) and lettered by me, on a Huion tablet.

Have a look at the new, improved version, and I have an etsy link if anyone is still keen on a print, as I now have a lovely one on my wall :)

UPDATE: I'll be making some last minor amends today, for the little requests coming through, and then I will post the etsy link and discount code for Hampshire redditors, I thank you for all your help guys!

As title, second post as I messed up the first! Drawn on a Huion Kamvas, from a pencil sketch.

As the title says, have lived here for a while in Blazing, expat Aussie who settled down. Love the countryside and a bit of a fantasy nerd, and wanted to share :)
