Rick Grimes countdown scene is one of the hardest drops in the Walking Dead

Rick Grimes in general is one of the best tv characters ever created

Ghostfacers (S3E13) is one of the most underrated episodes of Supernatural

The whole archival footage style was so unique, recorded on Ed and Harry’s DV cameras, handheld camcorders, and head cams, it just made everything feel so real. Also, Dean was constantly dropping F-bombs and getting bleeped (him starring in a reality tv kinda thing, yess, ironic comedy)

The fact that the Ghostfacers got their own 10-part web series, with an extra episode where they meet Cas, is something I feel like nobody talks about enough. Also, can we talk about Corbett? What happened to him was genuinely devastating.

Michael Fassbender and Gina Carano’s underrated fight sequence in Haywire (2011)

Love how Carano gets beat up just as much as Fassbender in this scene. It refuses to give Gina Carano plot armor, and Fassbender throws her around just as hard as she throws him around. That equality itself makes the fight feel so grounded. No flashy superhero moves or anything, just two people beating the hell out of each other.

The most refreshing part about the whole thing is that Carano isn’t portrayed as untouchable because she’s the protagonist, and Fassbender isn’t nerfed because he’s fighting a woman. Even the infamous vase smash was real, which Fassbender accidentally took full-on.

Watched Nocturnal Animals a few years back, and it has stayed with me ever since…

Nocturnal Animals is one of those films that feels like the tip of an iceberg. The more you focus on the details, the more you realize how much is hiding underneath the surface. The novel-within-a-film aspect is very much a "the devil is in the details" kind of experience. The highway scene, the body-over-body imagery, the ending, every single character has a significant arc to them.

You have to have the heart to watch this movie. And if you truly understand it, it won't necessarily change your life, but it will give you a much deeper perspective on it. Of course, any Jake Gyllenhaal movie tends to leave you feeling that way, but this was something else. Wow.

House M.D. Season 4, Episodes 15 and 16, “House’s Head” x “Wilson’s Heart,” has to be the best season finale arc in the entire series.
