Should I be worried about failing tnav and not making it on my mug cruise?
What percentage of mugs don't end up making it on mug cruise? I'm also a little worried about pre-calc because we have to pass pre-Calc to take tnav.
I moved here from North Carolina to go to school and I am on the hunt for some open bars to just go jam in. I'm a really strong drummer, anything would be appreciated I'm having a hard time finding anything.
I'm A college student in the Bronx and am in search for a place where I can go play drums/guitar somewhere.
Any ideas on any open jam bars in the city or anywhere around? I'm willing to travel as I'm in a mental state where I need to go play some music with people.
I'm big into the blues.
How many kids fail out academically?
It seems that a lot of kids end up failing out of the school. I'm curious if it's academics or is it the mental game.
Overall how hard do you guys find the academics here at Maritime?
I am a fourth class here at Maritime and I am seeking a better math 90 professor.
Math is one of my weaknesses so I'm hoping for you guys to recommend a teacher so that I can try and switch into their class.
I have already switched out of one but the one that I'm currently with now is also just kind of terrible.
Any recommendations?
Dead ass I wiped down my MacBook Pro with a Lysol wipe and I guess I clicked the wrong button and I've now ended up in the complete starting is what I think with the options in the McIntosh thing. I have completely wiped the laptop through the disk thing and have tried to download the McIntosh thing with the macOS Ventura but every single time it finished downloading it just puts me right back to the start with the options and McIntosh.
At this point I'm cool just fully restarting my computer fresh because I need it for school.
What do kids usually bring to their classes. And what do you end up using the most. Laptop? Notebooks?
Or do a lot of kids just kind of end up just listening.
Can I get a job while being a regimental student and a while playing a sport?
I'm coming from more then 150 miles away so I am bringing everything for the entire academic year along with a separate bag for indoc.
What will happen to all of my stuff that is not indoc related? And will it get searched through? I am bringing two of those Stanley black and yellow tubs.
Also side question, can I bring a small throw blanket for the academic year or is that not allowed. Trying to maybe get out of making my bed every morning lol.
Do I have to have white towels specifically? Or can they be another color.
Hoping to find a little more of the youth side of dinghy sailing here.
Now that Zhik, for some reason, stopped making their most commonly used life jacket (I can’t remember the model, but hopefully you know which one I’m talking about), I’m on the hunt for a new vest. A lot of kids on my team are having the same problem.
Can you guys recommend some USCG approved life vests that look decent and perform well? I’ve been looking outside the box a bit..kayak vests, watersports vests, etc. I would love to hear what you all are using/looking into.
How long and how many breaks do we get?
