Cecilie Fløe from Napoli to Wolfsburg for a reported fee of 400 000 € according to Soccerdonna

If the fee is correct it's by far the most expensive purchase by the german club and only second to Lena Oberdorf's transfer to Bayern, for 450 000 €, in Bundesliga history.

Is it only me who think the Nations League system qualification is pure garbage and that there was no reason to change the old one?

The new system is super weird with different path to go to the world cup. Why complicate stuff? I'm honestly furious over how shit this system is. Screw UEFA! Screw Nations League! Screw the paths! Like everything else they does, they try to screw football. Sorry, just had to went a bit

Tessa Wullaert, Henrietta Csizar and Katie Bowen all leaving Inter

Big loss for Inter, especially Tessa Wullaert, who was the top scorer and top assist provider of the league. Czisar on the other hand was the captain of the team and a starter, while Katie Bowen been a bit more in and out. Quite high average age on Inter though in general, perhaps they wanna rejuvenate it. But Wullaert's departure is for sure not what they wanted (source: Soccerdonna)

Giulia Dragoni- Should I stay or should I go(back to Barca)?

Dragoni has impressed since she returned from injury. Seems to have an almost exponential development at the moment. Last season she made 1 goal and 1 assist on 21 games, this season she's done 7 goals and 4 assists on 22 games. I think Roma really wants to keep her, should Barca cash in or bring her home, or even loan her out for a 3rd consecutive season?

Serie A Women- Final table and analysis

A summary of the team's League Season (Best squad and MVP of the season at the end)

Roma-Had predicted them at 2nd place before the season started, but said it was a toss up between them and Juve. They got a headstart at the beginning , when Juve and Inter fumbled and never let go of that mental advantage. At the beginning of the season they had a bit of luck, but as the season progressed, they grew into champions. The backline was shaky at the start, but became one of the two best of the league at the end. Giugliano was the biggest star for the club, don't know how many times she bailed them out with a long shot near the edge of the box in tight games. Her and Greggi, who's the engine of the team ,are truly the center of the team. Youngster Dragoni should also be mentioned, she has also grown a lot, from 1 goal and an assist the season before to 7 goals and 4 assists this season, can Roma keep her?(She's loaned out from Barca)

Inter-The goalscoring machine of the league this season. A very physical team that likes to go for the kill and play it straight. Tessa Vullaert has been enormous for them this season, both the best goal scorer and assist provider of the whole league! Players like Bugeja has also been great,as well as the young, very active defender, Marija Milinkovic. A decent result for them even though, in the end it became quite a gap to Roma. I feel they were a bit too chaotic in their play and let in lots of goals. Bit more control and they will be even more deadly next season.

Juventus- Big dissapointment in the league, while great in Europe. I feel they improved their athleticism and defence, which helped in Europe, but attack became non existent! Best goalscorer was Beccari and Girelli with 4 goals(!) each,2 of them on penalties. I feel by losing Cantore, Caruso and Boattin, Juve in hindsight lost the title. These are creative players and I feel Juve didn't replace them. Unlike Roma, who sold some declining heroes, Juve sold players at their peak, who's been in the club since it inception. Instead Juve keept older heroes, who sadly for Juve declined a lot this season, thinking about Girelli and Bonansea. I feel Juve lost as well as energy some heart.

The rest- Biggest positive surprise was probably Napoli, who usually plays boring and at risk of going down. This season they played a very fast fun football without any respect for the opponents and finished high up. Cecilie Floe was their big standout star and she probably made Napoli's style possible. Speaking of Danes, which is the most common foreign nationality in the league btw, Breedgard impressed a lot for Fiorentina who finished 4th. I feel Fiorentina, like Roma, grew over the season. Others not much to say, except for the fact that Parma finished 2nd last, despite not losing more games than they lost, but they drew a lot.

Squad of the season: Goalkeeper : Runarsdottir(INT) Defenders: Oladipo(Roma)- Salvai (Juve)-Carbonell(Juve) Midfielders: Oliveiro(Lazio)-Bredgaard(Fiorentina)-Greggi(Roma)-Giugliano(Roma)-Dragoni(Roma) Forwards: Floe(Napoli)-Wullaert(Inter) Subs: Milinkovic(Inter), Le Biahan(Lazio), Nischler (Como) , Soffia (Milan), Piemonte(Lazio)

MVP: Giugliano, while Wullaert is close 2nd

Some known names here like Valentina Giacinti, Vero Boquete as well as Christian Eriksens sister, Louise Eriksen, in this team. There will be two Como teams in next season's Serie A Women!

  • Roma will surely win the scudetto now
  • Inter thru to Champions League
  • Juventus in danger of missing their CL-spot. Important games now, they face Napoli and Inter in their last 3 league games
