Hello! I think my hip has partially dislocated (subluxation) 3 times when my foot got stuck in mud/shoe got stuck/or very uneven ground caught my foot and I tried to step up without realizing when in nature doing photography (aka wasn't looking where I was going). Felt like a sudden distancing of my femur and hip socket that was extremely jarring. Hurt for the day(s) after. But not so painful I couldn't walk after it felt like it slipped back in. That issue and the lots of muscular pain around the hip are two things pushing me towards the surgery.

25F, labral repair two years ago never fully recovered. Was a very active person. Been doubting getting surgery (probably due to it being scary) and I only have borderline dysplasia of 21° but I'm hypermobile).

Was wondering what subluxation feels like to make sure that's what I experienced. Any peoples experiences would be super helpful thanks!

Good morning! Does anyone here have experiences with SI joint pain and whether or not it went away post-op.

I (25F) had labrum repair/cam impingement surgery a year and a half ago, which interestingly has caused SI joint pain and also obviously did not fix my entire hip problem (mild hip dyaplasia w/hypermobility). Schedule for PAO in a few months. Wondering if it'll fix the issue or if it will get worse. Thanks!

I'm hypermobile and have significant hip/low back issues (feels muscular and skeletal pain) and also traps/neck/jaw,shoulder muscular pain. Does jellybend actually help?

Which ones do people use to help with these two problems? Also does it get too hot in the summer?

Also I found when I wear tight compressive pants or tighter pants with no stretch that the way I am compressed on my hips makes my hip muscles on the injured side have to work extra hard to keep it in my socket right. (I have hip cartilage damage on one side plus hypermobility). Any recommendations?

Are there any secluded camping and hiking spots within 3.5 hrs of Norfolk. I'd love to make it out to wv or south western Virginia but it's quite far. Love Backcountry camping and jagged rocks and sweeping mountain views.

Hi! Is there any good camping near Seneca rocks trail? I'm new to the area. Would prefer quiet camping, campground okay but wild camping is my favorite. Also dog friendly. I see that it is in a national forest, so there are some campgrounds nearby. Thanks!

Hello! Me and my half husky dog live around Virginia Beach/ Bayside Beach area and are looking for recommendations. Moved from Alaska this winter and my dog and I are having a hard time adjusting to the heat and the density of people. I am used to cold rainy weather, being in nature all the time, and the freedom of not a lot of people around.

Trying to find places/people to hang out at/with. Any recommendations for someone who just moved from a tiny remote town in a mountainous/ocean area? But I'd love some help finding low key restaurants and activities and third places. Thanks!

Hello! I've been surfing on my 7'6 old FB marketplace fiberglass board and my 7ft been gravy FB marketplace board for a while. Was considering getting a board around 7ft or a tiny bit shorter fiberglass so I can practice duck diving and transition into a higher level of surfing. I'm on the smaller side, 5'5 150lbs. When's the right time to transition up to a board like that and what should I look out for?

Hey guys, I'm planned to get surgery in late September. But my family is planning Thanksgiving. A short plane ride away from me. Is it too much to travel 2 months after surgery to go to family Thanksgiving?

Hi! I need to have food delivered to my friend's house in O'Fallon because they are going through a difficult time. I'm not from there and I don't live nearby, is there anywhere you would recommend? I was hoping for food that could be delivered with ice packs and such so that it can sit on their doorstep and wait for them to get home. One person in the house is a vegetarian. Thank you so much!

I had a labral repair/femoralplasty a year and a half ago and am scheduled for PAO surgery in a few months. Has anyone had both? What are the differences in recovery for you personally? Luckily I kept all the crutches, grabbers, etc from the last surgery. Any advice helpful. Thanks!

Everyone! I'm 25F and I got diagnosed with borderline/ mild hip dysplasia. I'm also hyper mobile. I had a labral repair/fai surgery A year and a half ago. It helped but it did not fix my whole problem. Lots of muscular pain in my lower back, mid back, and the outside of my hip. In addition to mild amounts of some of the other hip dysplasia symptoms.

Has anyone had this help with their lower back pain? Or muscular pain? Thanks!
