Specks in tweed coming off for knitted sweater - how do I lock in the specks

I am knitting a sweater with DK City Tweed yarn from knit picks and the specks within the yarn are not intertwined very well so they are just coming off. Does anyone recommend a way to go through and kind of restitch these speckles back in?

Please reference the two photos to see how the speckles look on the knitted body. Half or more of the speckles are barely hanging on
