My wife and myself have put in 70+ hours in Windrose, going from act one to the swamp and we’ve adored everything from start to finish. I’m the builder and ship captain and she’s the attack dog that looks like a cupcake ✨

I know most of this stuff will probably be added but I’m hoping to strike up a discussion with others in the community as well

Combat

It’s fluid, it takes skill, the enemies hit like boulders flung by a giant on steroids. Literally nothing I would change other than those juiced up dodos 🦤

Events at sea

Perhaps a whale breach, or a sea monster attack. Something to make the world feel more alive at sea! Going to help a brethren coast ship and give you a reward for doing so

Building

My bread and butter, one of the best building systems ever but room for improvement for sure

Having diagonal mahogany poles would be great

Statues. The amount of detail that could be made by putting statues of fallen bosses at the entrance to your pirate cove or fort would bring a lot for not only comfort but just to look at a statue saying ‘I beat you even with all those bombs you pull out of thin air’ iykyk

Display Stands

The amount of times I’ve gotten a cool weapon or item that I’d just like to show off, I could single handedly pay off my crippling warhammer addiction. Imagine the armories that could be made, or ‘grand papy’s blunderbuss’ hanging over the mantle.

More Roof Materials

Dear god I’m tired of just using the clay tiles, I don’t like the reeds or the plant fiber. While it’s amazing for the Spanish style architecture, give me some deep tarred roofing, or even wooden shingles 🙏

Quality of Life

Just some stuff that’d be sick to have

Transmog/ Dyes

I want to have swashbuckling drip, bright and vibrant clothes that make me look like I’m going to the pink pony club on the high seas. But instead I’m wearing a mix of pikeman armor and depression fits. I’d give my firstborn for this

Fast travel to your ship

Early levels I’ve died while boarding a ship and have had to take the little boat of shame to my ship just to get my crap wrecked again (I know skill issue) but maybe make it a consumable, expensive so that way it couldn’t be abused

More character customization options

Maybe not sliders, but just more of the multiple options we are given.

Something to do with stockpiling marks

Getting to max reputation level with everyone is so satisfying but sometimes the marks take up space in chests. An exchange system would be good so I could get some silver or gold to spend on the new items I’ve just gotten access to so I’m not hoarding them until the next act

I know most of this stuff (hopefully) will be added on in time, it’s just a little post I wanted to make because I really love this game

I really want to get a Custodes tattoo as my first 40K tattoo. Does anyone have any good suggestions or ideas?
