I have some friends in Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, and other places around the world from my travels. Since DA has been recruiting bilingual workers, and the cost of living in some of these places is so low, I’ve referred a few friends to DA. The language directory says they’re recruiting Filipino, Arabic, etc. bilinguals but my friends (in Philippines and Egypt) didn’t see the assessments when they signed up. They were given Chinese and none respectively.

Any current info on what places actually have assessments? It’s no fun encouraging my friends to apply and then having to try to explain why they’re not being offered an assessment even though the site says they’re hiring for that language :S
