Since DICE is removing small modes, they should rework Saints Quarter into a bigger map at some point, maybe even include a beach landing like in the campaign

Some interesting info about the future of the battlefield 6 from Dev Q&A

Coming during season 3:
Air Radar.
”Clear all markers” button.

Coming during Season 4:
Proximity chat for BOTH Redsec and Multiplayer.

Coming during Season 5:
Reworks of New Sobek and Blackwell fields.
Massive destruction set pieces.
Platoons.
Leaderboards.
Server browser.

Coming at some point:
Jet custom loadouts.
Granade throwback mechanic is gonna be tested in Labs.
More Operations.
Phantom program.
Small adjustements to existing maps like moving bounderies, particularly for aircraft.

Not currently planned:
No any short term plans to add more hud customization, like HUD scaling.
Bringing back nightfall event.
Bringing back 64 player Breakthrough.
Console only crossplay.
Pointing animation when spotting players.

Ranked

The fuck is the point of having ranked mode, where the actual rank means fuck all.

I’ve only had few matches of ranked, so i’m still climbing up and about to hit bronze in about 2-3 games and i’m allready being matched against players in platinum, diamond and master ranks.
