Looking to do a whole warm cooked lobster for lunch. Ambience, cost, taste, apps, sides? Other considerations like dessert or drinks? We will be in Southwest harbor for dinner so my inclination was thurstons in Quietside for a change of pace. But I keep hearing about the experience of Beals.
Okay! Vote please, we are going next week! Dinner at Tugboat, Footbridge, or Thistle Inn? Somewjere else? We will do Dunton’s for lunch I think but would be open to footbridge for lunch instead. We get off a Cap’n Fishes Cruise at 6pm so we worry about Dunton’s for dinner being too close since we need to check into Topside first. We want to make the most of topside so maybe we’d do an after dinner drink at Thistle Inn or Neat but only if it’s worth it. We want to stay somewhat economical. Thank you so much!!
Stopping in around 11am on a Saturday and we have some time to kill before checking in at our rental in oak island. What would you do? It would be myself, husband, and three year old. We’ve never been!
We are driving from Southwest Harbor to Boothbay for a Cap n Fishes cruise and stay at Topside Inn. Should we stop at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse (we will have done Rockland Breakwater and Bass Harbor Head) or Maine Botanical Gardens on the way in? We plan to do the footbridge brewery for lunch.
