I finished the game!

Finally!! After countless times of starting over and the game staying in my backlog for years I reached the end! What a beautiful game. What a unique experience.

The only reason I kept going was seeing people on here talk about how great this game is over and over again. And how right they are. This is definitely one of my favourite games of all time. You really notice how much love and attention to detail was put into every part of it. So many memorable riddles and moments, the only thing I wish is to be able to erase my memory and experience it all over again!

And I just realized theres a DLC!

Boot only working with one RAM Stick

I recently completed my new PC build and as the title suggests I can't boot up my system with both RAM sticks inserted. There is a red and a yellow light glowing on my mainboard when trying to boot with two sticks, which apparently means that there is a communication problem with RAM and/or the CPU.

So far I've tried swapping out one stick with the other on the same slot. The result is that the boot is constantly only possible with one specific stick, independent of the slot which is used, so it might be bad RAM.. (I've bought them used). I also enabled EXPO in my BIOS and flashed to the current version. I tried out different RAM slot configurations as well as waiting 5-10 minutes for memory training to load up.

Build Specs:

\- Ryzen 5 7500f

\- RX 6900 XT 16GB

\- 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 5600MTs, CL36

\- 850W PSU from NZXT

\- 1TB NVME Gen4 SSD

\- AsRock B850 Pro RS Wifi Motherboard

Any ideas on what else I could try to make it work? I really don't want to buy new RAM sticks lol

Help me decide which of these three GPUs is best

Currently building my new PC and I already got a Ryzen 7500f as well as 2x16gb of ram (+AMD Expo).

Mainly looking for a GPU on the used market and I want to know which one is best bang for your buck.

So far the ones which I‘m keeping an eye on are:

- Intel Arc B580 (200€)
- 7700xt (200-250€)
- 9060xt 16 Gb (300€)

Which one would you recommend at these prices or would you go with another GPU entirely?

Decision between budget and optimal RAM

I've been browsing the used market for some fitting DDR5 Ram, which I'm gonna use to build a new PC. I've found this offer for a 32GB, 5600MTs, CL46 dual ram kit (Brand: Crucial). Cost: 200€

The RAM is gonna be paired with a Ryzen 5 7500f and a RX9060xt.

Now I wonder whether I should keep looking for a better fitting ram kit with lower CL as I read that theres a notable difference between CL46 and the recommended CL30 6000MTs. On the other hand I don't think I'm gonna find a much better offer than 2x16GB for 200€ in the coming weeks with the current market situation and I'm on a tight budget.

EDIT: Also I could buy a single 16GB stick with optimal 6000MTs and CL30 for 150€. What makes more sense? Thanks in advance!

Looking for a game to get lost in over the weekend

Something along the lines of Slay the Spire 1&2, Into the Breach and FTL.

Love games with good mechanics, which you can learn fast but are hard to master. Doesnt have to be a game that takes super long to finish.

So far I‘m looking at Dishonored 2 (loved the first one), and warhammer 40k: rogue trader.
Bonus points for warhammer recommendations as I‘d like to go deeper into that awesome universe.

Help me build a new PC!

Hey everyone, after using my first PC that I built myself for over 10 years it's finally time to upgrade! I did some research and settled on the following build:

PCPartPicker Part List: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/qK66Bv

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz 6-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler

Motherboard: ASRock B650 PG LIGHTNING ATX AM5

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory

Storage: Kingston NV3 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME

Video Card: RX 9060 XT 16 GB

Is there anything I can optimize regarding this build? I'm still not sure whether going for AM5 is even worth it or building something with DDR4 makes more sense. My budget will be around 1k-1.2k€.

Can't seem to win when playing carry

So recently I've been able to climb fairly well, mainly playing pos 2+3 (roughly 60% winrate). But somehow whenever I get assigned pos 1 I don't seem to able to close out the game, no matter how good or bad my starting game is. Like in my most recent game I had 62 cs with drow @ 10min, but after 25min I just started dying in every team fight. For reference, I'm currently around 3.3k mmr.

Is there any general advice for playing pos 1 in the mid and late game? Anything that I might be missing?

Grateful for every advice. Thanks in advance!
