Did I just buy a fake Pullip? (Sailor Jupiter Pullip)

Hello! Recently I bought two pullips at auction on eBay, real dream purchases as a Sailor Moon fan, one Sailor Pluto standard which arrived from DHL in pristine condition despite the box was damaged/open from shipping. I didn’t care because it did look genuine, but my second purchase has been less than happy. The shipping box came destroyed and there was a dent on the box and the plastic is now falling off. Which led me to inspecting the box overall. Do you think this is just a printing error? The logo is not entirely opaque like others I see online. (I also added a photo of a different doll box from the same line)

I am only suspicious of this because the same eBay seller seems to have multiples of each doll, having listed a second Sailor Pluto 2 weeks later which is not something I see very often as these have become hard to find.

3D uv unwrap (budget question)

Hello I wanted to ask what the appropriate price is for a uv unwrap of a model I made recently. I’m a plushie maker not a 3d modeler so if I sound like a novice I am. But I sculpted an unfortunately very high poly model (about 164k vertices lol) of a pony to try and cut down on how much time I spend prototyping. I have several other photos where I need seams and hence where the uv map needs to be separated, what is an appropriate budget for this project?

I most likely don’t need to mention dimensions since I do not intend for this to be printed, but ideally it would be about 15 inches tall without the ears included.

What is Audiology as a career like? Work life balance questions etc

Hello! I wanted to come on today and ask what working in audiology is like? Is it stable, or mentally taxing? What is your work schedule like, etc.? I have officially finished my AA in fine arts and have started looking into a couple of healthcare-related paths, one being audiology, since being diagnosed by an audiologist a couple of years ago. However, I was also very drawn to the idea of a 4 day work week that I’ve seen some physical therapists have. In your experience, is a 4 day work week something you’ve been offered, or is that just not a factor of this profession?

Animation degree in a film school (UNCSA or somewhere else?)

Hello! I understand the current qualms of art college at this point. Mind you, I’m not debating if it is worth it or not, purely asking for animation program recommendations.

If you had to go back, what programs, online or in person, would you recommend that would leave you feeling satisfied that you learned something and would be capable, with practice, to enter the industry for animation? I already have 2 years under my belt of general education and have doubts about dedicating 6 years to an art degree at UNCSA because their program is so inflexible and is 4 years long regardless of prior credits. However, I was very impressed by the level of education they provide, which is why I’m here.

Sure there are a lot of colleges in my area that have an art degree, but they all feel like a second thought to their other majors. At that point, I might as well learn it by myself.

I realize I’ve drawn this post out and made it long-winded, but I haven’t had luck reaching out to students or alumni of the schools I’ve been looking at, which is what I would be very interested in.

V-light bad experience or it is what it is

Hello! This is my first time getting any sort of hair extension, I wanted a new option to have fun colors in my hair after absolutely frying it with bleach 7 years ago, the pain was horrendous, I have a high pain tolerance, I could barely sleep for two nights because my scalp was pulled on so hard to separate the strands. But I hear that beauty is pain and so are extensions.

However the big question is I finally cut one out that was still too painful to sleep on a week later, is it normal for there to be an inch long wick of glue? It feels like I have toothpicks stuck on my head. 🥲
