Has anyone ever ordered from Modish Jaipur?

Are they a rip-off of the Jaipur Collective, or is Jaipur Collective a reseller? Asking because I am planning to buy this jacket from Modish Jaipur that Anushka wore, but Jaipur Collective claimed the jacket as theirs - so which one is copying whom? the same jackets are available with both.

High homocysteine and CRP - I am so worried about what's going on.

I got my entire bloodwork done to see if i was insulin resistance or if my cortisol was abnormally high. the blood was drawn around 9 am and my cortisol was 20.

Contacted doctor - first thing he says is do you have PCOD and talks about how 99% of human population has high homocysteine. And continues asking me if I have any infection, do i have a cold, am i 100% ok - which I am - because he can't figure out why my inflammation is so high.

So here i'm asking you all dear doctors on what I should be doing. I’ve been dealing with persistent fatigue that is starting to interfere with my day-to-day life and work. The fatigue is probably the bigger concern for me. I feel tired almost all the time. By around 2 PM, I feel like I’ve hit a wall. I either need a very large coffee to keep functioning or I feel like I need to sleep. When it gets bad, I genuinely struggle to work and concentrate.

What would you investigate next if you were in my position? Would you look more closely at B12/folate, iron, inflammation, sleep, or something else? And is a homocysteine level around 20 something that warrants further investigation?

Denied a promotion for someone who's convinced they've already earned it. How do you stop re-litigating it?

I manage a small team. One of my reports made a case for promotion this cycle and I decided not to put him up. My own manager agrees with the call. The gap isn't output — he delivers, he is well-regarded by partners who work the least with him. The gap is that all the direction comes from me. I set the frame, he executes it with several follow ups, and then it gets written up as end-to-end ownership. Reliability is a big issue. Misses deadlines. Complains about how much work he has. I find myself taking the load and doing a lot of IC work. Which is fine for my team to be successful. But he sends me the laziest draft of a report, expecting me to format & edit it.

Anyway, this conversation ran for a couple of hours. He was upset for a lot of it. He went through the examples in my feedback one by one to explain why each one had context I'd missed — a dependency, an alignment wait, an unclear split of responsibilities but never his miss or fault. Some of that was fair, and I said so. On the clearest example, I had dates, and the timeline didn't support his version; he had remembered the sequence differently. He accepted it when I showed him, but I've now spent hours defending a decision that was already made. He also disagreed with some of the feedback which honestly shows me a lack of self-awareness.

The part I can't get past: he doesn't see how much I lean in. Not sure if this is dishonest or lack of self-awareness, he just doesn't register the frame as something someone else provided. So when I describe the gap, he hears it as unfair, because from inside his experience he is doing the work. He doesn't get how the work is being done, just that it is being done. Even cross-functional partners have raised against him several times.

Meanwhile my manager's attention has been on how my report is processing the feedback, and whether he is okay. Which is his job, and he has backed me on the substance. But nobody has asked how the person who had to sit in that room for three hours is doing, and I'm finding that harder than I expected.

Two questions for people who've been here:

  1. How do you stop a decision from being re-argued every week without becoming cold about it? I've agreed to write out explicit criteria, but I can feel this becoming an ongoing negotiation.
  2. Has anyone found a way to make "I set the direction, you executed it" legible to someone who doesn't experience it that way? Every framing I've tried lands as me taking credit. At his level, it is fine, but how can I promote someone when I'm doing 50% of their work?
  3. My manager has backed my decision, including on the one point my report pushed hardest on, and he didn't need prompting to do it. But every follow-up since has been about how my report is processing things, whether he is okay, and that my manager will check in with him too. Meanwhile I'm the one carrying the delivery pressure, covering a second scope, and picking up the slack when things don't move. Nobody's asked how I'm doing. I don't think he is being disloyal. He skip-manages my report and attending to that is part of his job. But I can't work out whether I'm supposed to raise it, or whether raising it reads as fragile. How have people handled asking their own manager for support in a situation like this without it landing as a complaint about the report.
  4. Direct report is extremely passive-aggressive post the feedback. Not tagging me in updates, not showing me a strategy doc and pushing it forward without my approval on it, btw.

Will he text me tonight?

I do a 3-card spread always, so i got 6 of wands, four of pentacles and the knight of wands.

I feel yes, he will send me a happy birthday/celebratory message tonight. low effort, so maybe a reply to an IG story? With the wands, I feel like it'll be a brief, quick message that won't reveal too much about his intentions or his feelings for me, as he's still keeping those to his chest.

What are some of the best examples of good product placement in Indian movies?

I have just been curious how well India has been doing in the recent times and not the obvious "Drink Coca-Cola" in Yaadein, for example.

Anything else comes to mind? I saw some Zomato placements in movies recently.
