Attempted sliders for the first time for my 5-year-old daughter. I usually grill burgers but we wanted to try something different.
I used this recipe minus the mayo and sesame seeds since she doesn’t like them: https://natashaskitchen.com/cheeseburger-sliders/
Any tips on how to make them even better would be great. I loved them and more importantly, she loved them. Proud of myself!
I’ve signed up to be my daughter’s coach in the fall. It’s for 5 and 6 year old girls. Never coached before but she really wants me to do it. This is also her first time playing soccer outside of some little activities and drills she did last year. This time she’ll actually be in games. It’s for AYSO.
Anything I should know beforehand to get prepped for this? I’m super excited and a little nervous for some reason, haha.
I’m self-taught so I use a lot of one-handed backhand/slice and I’m not good with a two-handed backhand at all. If the opposing player hits it deep to my backhand, they rush the nut and my lob never gets high enough so it’s usually an easy put away. What’s the best way to counter this? I don’t want to work on just lobbing it and two-handed BH feels so awkward for me. Should I just try working more on turning my body so I can play a passing shot with a forehand? Hit to their forehands more so it’s not as easy for them to hit down the line to my backhand? Anyone else have similar issues? Any help would be appreciated.
