Dublin Based AEs Toast/Stripe/Salesforce/Hubspot

If anyone knows what its like to work as an AE in any of those companies in Dublin please share some comments 😊

I ask because I'm exploring the job market in Dublin and trying to learn about what companies might suit me best if I target AE roles. I'm trying to learn about loads of different companies out there. It seems there are pros and cons to AE jobs in every tech company these days. Lot of people seem to be saying the best days of Salesforce are behind us and if you get a cursed territory you're totally cooked.

Sales and Account Management Jobs In Ireland

I was working as an Account Manager for a telematics company in the UK for 3+ years.

I moved home to Dublin recently and I'm now looking for an exciting new career opportunity.

Ideally I'd like to find a lucrative Account Management role but it seems there aren't many on the market. The ones on the market seem to want very finicky industry-specific experience.

There seems to be lots of Account Executive opportunities but I don't think I can target them because I was technically an Account Manager even though I was selling and closing small business sales as an AM. I do have some stone cold outbound sales experience but only a few months worth, so I don't think it will stand up very well on an application for an AE job.

Should I target BDR/SDR roles at top tier SaaS companies to get myself back on the saddle?

Can anyone reccomend really good companies in Dublin for BDR roles where you can be promoted to AE or AM within 18 months of hitting targets? Ideally companies that give good training and coaching so you constantly improve your skills.

Or is there any companies that might realistically take me on as an AM or an AE?

Should I Buy A Skip The Queue Ticket

I'm visiting Alton Towers with a friend on Wednesday 5th August.

We will arrive at about 10am.

Should I upgrade my ticket to a "skip the queue" ticket?

Is it worth the extra money? Will there be wild queues there all day long on Wednesday?

Obviously want to get on as many rides as possible.

Have Any Adults Of A Mature Age Here Pivoted Into An SDR Role To Get The Foot On The Ladder Of A Tech Sales Job?

I'm 35 going on 36.

I've spent years working as an Account Manager and did well enough at it. There was a bit of sales in it, but not enough to qualify me for a high paying (tech) sales role.

I'm now looking for a new job and I feel like I need a high income to buy an apartment in the future and blah blah blah.

It's proving very difficult to find a high paying Account Manager's job. It looks like all the big money is floating around in Tech Sales.

It's starting to look like my only way into a very good income now is to target the entry level SDR roles and hopefully if I secure an SDR role and bust myself and learn good sales skills, then I can face a promotion within 2 years and everything should be good from there.

Has anyone of my age bracket or anyone with previous career experience pivoted into an SDR role? If so, how did you get on with it?

Seeking Advise For CV And Job Applications

It's time for me to find a new jobeen.

I moved home to Dublin after living in the UK for 5 years.

I now need to find a new jobeen.

I was working as an Account Manager in the UK.

I know there are career coaching people that show you how to make a successful CV and they give you interview tips and stuff like that.

\- Does anyone know how much these people charge for their services?

\- Are they worth the money?

I think it would be a good idea to get someone to look at my CV and advise me of whether or not it looks right.

Would be good to get advise on things like applying for jobs and prepping for interviews etc.

Withdrawing Cash In Hanoi With No ATM Card?

Hello everybody. I lost my ATM card and it would be great if I could withdraw cash.

Is there any way I can do this without a physical bank card?

I have a digital NFC card on my phone but a lot of places don't accept it so doing lots of things has become inconvenient.

I can't find any Western Union branches on Google, and most or all banks are closed for the weekend.

4 Days In South Korea - Advise?

I'm visiting South Korea for 4 days.

Can anyone advise me of what I should I see and do?

I fly into Cheongju tomorrow. I will probably be kind of tired so I plan on spending 1 day their to relax.

Then I'm thinking 3 days in Seoul, with 1 of those days involving a day trip to the DMZ.

This is my loose plan. Can anyone give me some advise on where I should go and what I should do?

Spring Airlines Changing Flights From Shanghai To Busan

I booked an afternoon flight from Shanghai to Busan on 2nd June, 2026.

But a few weeks ago Spring Airlines emailed me to say "sorry, we have cancelled your flight and rescheduled it to 08:20 on 3rd June, 2026."

However, when I look at their website, it still the afternoon flight for 2nd June, and it does not allow you to book a flight for 08:20 on 3rd June.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Affordable Clothes Shopping In Chongqing

I'm staying around Hongyacave in Chongqing for a few days.

I could do with 1 or maybe even 2 new pairs of white sneakers.

I also might need 1 or 2 t-shirts, a pair of shorts, and a pair of trousers.

Is there anywhere I can get nice gear at a good price.

It doesn't have to be high end designer gear, if it looks nice and doesn't fall apart fast, then that's as good for me. If there's good branded stuff at a good price that's an even nicer bonus.

I left a big book behind me at the airport.

The book is Don Quixoute. There are 760 pages in it. In the unlikely chance that anyone has found it - can they post it to me haha?

Neither Alipay Nor WeChat Working Do I Cancel My Trip To China?

Neither Alipay nor WeChat are working on my phone. I'm meant to fly to China tomorrow.

Will I cancel my trip and go elsewhere?

Or is it worth it buying a new upgraded phone and hoping it will work?

Can you buy a cheap Chinese phone at Kunming Airport, one that already has Alipay and WeChat built in?

This is so fucking ridiculous and annoying.
