Found this cute art piece of Simon Cardy, who reviewed Mixtape. Just wanted to share it here!

Your thoughts? I kinda liked the old one more, but eventually we are all going to get used to it like what they did with the Tubi logo.

You notice how everyone hyped The Day The Earth Blew Up even though it only made a little bit more than its budget? I know this post probably sounds ridiculous considering they were released at different times and are 2 completely different franchises, but I just know this monstrosity will make more money despite more people hating it along with the fact that it was speculated to be a confirmed Box Office bomb. Animal Farm was critically panned while TDTEBU was mostly positive. And before y’all bring up “BUT THE DAY THE EARTH BLEW UP BARELY HAD ANY MARKETING”, so did this movie. I did not see a single advertisement for this film other than 99% of people on 𝕏 complaining about it and major YouTubers like Channel Awesome & SaberSpark talking bad about it. The closest I saw to marketing were those corny videos reposted from the Angel Studios account on TikTok, a Ad Pop-up on a website and an actual advertisement on 𝕏 showing trimmed clips from the trailer which was filled with nothing but political people talking about how they ruined it in the comments. I did not see a single commercial or billboard about this film. PLACE YOUR BETS EVERYONE.

I had a disc only copy of Rayman 1 that wouldn’t even save progress, and then later most of the soundtrack struggled to play properly or wouldn’t work at all. It was also badly scratched and resurfacing couldn’t even save it. You could still use it as an audio CD to play the games music at least. But now I finally found a good deal and it’s the original 1995 long box version which I kinda wanted for its obscurity, not the super common Greatest Hits version that possibly had more units produced than the original black label versions combined. There was also a black label jewel case that came in the original CD case often seen most NTSC releases but that version is even harder to find CIB. Oh, and I gave away my original copy for free since I didn’t need it anymore.

One of the berry best PlayStation 2 games ever released. Based on the critically acclaimed film of the same name and later released on windows. While y’all play mediocre games like Cory in the House and Lucky Luke (on the daltons trail), I’ll be playing this MASTERPIECE. God bless Strawberry Land.

Obscure? More like Absurd. I’ve wanted Obscure for so long, but my chances of getting this game almost felt like Zero. I know the PAL version is cheaper but I mostly collect NTSC. Every good deal was either raised to match current value or snatched up the next day. I couldn’t find any copy id be willing to pay for until now. After waiting almost 4 weeks, my copy finally arrived. It’s not complete, but I WANTED this game. As for the game, it’s actually not bad and runs super smooth. Looks kinda like the first Buffy game tbh
