Traveling with baby and shots advice please?

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE: I haven’t seen my brother, sister-in-law or niece and nephew in a year or two, so I really want to go and I want them to see her too!

So in June I will be traveling to my niece’s graduation party and since they live in Michigan and I live a couple of states away, (8 hour trip there and 8 hours back) I plan to take my babygirl with me. She is 5 months chronologically, but adjusted age is 3 months.

What should I bring along on this trip?

I have a pack n play but she doesn’t sleep well in it, so should I bring her actual bassinet?

Also should I change the appointment to get the rest of her shots after the trip?

My mom made a point on how baby girl was sick and very pretty fussy for a couple of days afterwards.

Thoughts on either travel or changing the appointment for shots.

Also helps if anyone has ever travelled with their baby long distance, where you had to stay in a hotel overnight.

Upset with pediatrician ! It’s bullshit. Baby sick

Warning: Venting.

I’m a little upset at my pediatrician and/or her nurse. My baby is really upset and sick with a cold we probably gave her. 🥺

But the pedi’s nurse said no Tylenol because it would mask her fever, and we can’t take her to hospital until her fever is 100.5, it’s 99.6 now, but it’s a fever for her, she’s clearly miserable.

That’s f’ing stupid.

Should I get another pediatrician even though it would be an hour away from here? Or do we need to keep this one since it’s close.

I wish I could get another opinion.

When Kyoko said “I won’t forgive you” to Kyo do you think she was actually going to say “I won’t forgive you if you don’t take care of her (Tohru)?

I feel like she died before she could finish what she was going to say.

Because what else could she mean by “I won’t forgive you.”

Thoughts?

Hello everyone,

When did you stop pumping as an undersupplier? (From child’s birth date until you stopped in months please, round up or down depending on what the date is closer to or if it was middle of the month you can add .5)

Thanks!

I want to try to go to 6 months but not sure if I can keep it up based on:

  1. Have so many doctor appointments between her and me to get enough pumps in.
  2. Not sure how long my supply can keep up.
  3. Feel like it’s taking time up from my baby girl.
  4. Feel like it may be putting extra stress on my husband because he has to take her at 5 and 8 for me to be able to pump.

Additional thoughts? (Add after telling me how long you pumped for)

Hello! Has anyone ever bought adjustable headphones for their infant or baby? (2-4 months of age)

I’m thinking ahead for possibly taking my baby to see 4th of July fireworks because she loves lights, but I don’t want the booms to scare her.

We may not even take her. Just planning ahead.
