Redness/irritation? Normal? 20 days PO
Hi guys, 20 days PO- almost 3 weeks. Yay! I am about to finish my final dose of antibiotics today. I wanted to share this redness I’m experiencing around my nipples area/suture lines. They are semi itchy (not terrible) but I can also feel the sutures underneath my skin- I’m assuming my body is trying to absorb them or spit them out. But it’s pretty firm feeling. How long will it take for my body to spit these sutures out? They are kinda getting on my nerves, i can tell my body isn’t liking them too much.
I guess im most concern of is cellulitis. Do you guys think this looks ok so far?

Hi! I am trying to practice my cut crease skills. I am trying to perfect this before DC pride. This is my first time doing this- so I know it’s sloppy and I would really like suggestions on how to make it cleaner looking and sharper.

Hi guys,
So I had my breast reduction surgery on April 20th. Yesterday, I had my first follow-up appointment and got prescribed doxycycline (antibiotic) due to my mammillary folds bilaterally irritating me. The incisions are red, tender, and sore. The doctor said that she doesn’t think I have an infection but just wanted to do the antibiotics just in case.
This AM around 1030-11 I started to have new onset symptoms: sore throat, extreme body aches, fatigue, I did not have a thermometer on hand- so unable to accurately assess if I have/had a fever, however, I did feel like I was warm.
I reached out via MyChart to let the surgeons team know. I haven’t heard back just yet-
Has this happened to anyone else? Just random symptoms post-op? When should I be concerned and go to the ER or see someone? I really do not want to go to the doctors if I don’t have to, but I also don’t want to prolong or miss anything serious.

Has anyone decided to get side lipo after the fact of their breast reduction? If so, how long after did you get it done after your initial surgery? What made you decide to go through with it or not go through with it?
How was the recovery time?
Looking for all the things please!! Anything helps! I have my follow up with my surgeon tomorrow and wanted to ask her about it.

Having a really hard time with my incisions being painful. They feel like they could rip any second. I ended up taking some oxy x2 today after not taking them for a few days. For some reason this morning my body was not having it. I have absolutely no sensation in my nipples. The surgeons notes said they took about 550 grams out of each breast- roughly 1 pound each. I know I’m still swollen but looking at my before picture I feel like they look the same size tbh.
