Most of the newest episode is completely new to me. I read the Manga but I didn't see like half of that. Was there a bonus chapter or something I missed or did they add a bunch to the anime to flush out the story?

Don't get me wrong, I love what they added since it gives a lot more detail on the aftermath of the last fight and filled in some gaps in the story.

Did anyone else think Diablo (the primordial black and extramly powerful demon) was going to betray Rimuru at some point when he first joined? After he was first brought up I was fully expecting him to betray him at some point with how shady he seemed at the start. After like 3 books it became clear he was just an eccentric demon but I truly thought a backstabbing was being set up.
