The formula on Lose the Snooze is a dream. Applies super-smooth with a great consistency. If you have a steady hand, you could get away with one coat, and it would only have a very slight crellyness. With a double-dipped single coat it's fully opaque with no streaky/patchy.

Make Waves is an old untried of mine, although that's a misnomer because I did try it back in the day and just didn't like it so I didn't finish the mani. But today I got the idea to use its sheerness to my advantage, because it applies evenly without streakiness, so it's perfect for using as a strong green flash topper.

The second pic shows Lose the Snooze by itself. It's a great color on its own and I hadn't worn it before, so I decided to leave one hand with just that, and only put the Make Waves topper on my left hand.

This very itchy rash has been there for two days. I tried expressing the biggest bump after I took the pictures, the angriest reddest one in the middle, and clear fluid came out. Aside from that, I am not touching (much less scratching) the rash except to rub hydrocortisone on it.

It started out as a few itchy bumps on my right wrist or forearm the first day, which I thought was just some hives, which I get randomly from time to time. So I took a double dose of cetirizine and used some hydrocortisone cream, and it helped with the itching, but the next day I woke up with the rash worse, and with a few on my left wrist/forearm too. Took another double dose of cetirizine, applied more cream, helped a little but not much. Took a third double dose in the evening, used more cream, same result. Now the itching woke me up in the middle of my sleep and the rash is even worse on the right side.

I haven't been using any cosmetic items on my wrists, I don't wear anything that touches my wrists, I don't have any new soaps, lotions, etc. No new lifestyle factors, everything is exactly the same as a week or a month ago.

I HOPE it's not scabies?! I rarely go outside, my house is clean, and my two cats are indoor-only, so I don't see how I could have caught scabies, and anyway I don't see those "track" markings that the mites make, but I'll leave that up to you.

I "borrowed" and propagated a cutting from a supermarket but the mother plant didn't have a tag on it so I have no clue what it is, other than obviously being some kind of tradescantia. I've been growing it with my other trads and trad cousin. In the first pic it's up front alongside a zebrina, a Purple Heart, and a Callisia fragrans. In the second pic it's the bottom front pot.

I want to talk about "rose gold". Polishes and general accessories labeled "rose gold" are usually just some kind of metallic pink, but actual rose gold (the metal) is not pink at all, it's metallic peach because it's an alloy of gold with a little bit of copper. So if you want to match your nails to your rose gold jewelry, nail polish that calls itself rose gold is no good for that. This polish right here which calls itself copper is a good match for my rose gold jewelry. I wish I'd popped this bottle sooner!

I'm trying to plow through my mountain of untrieds so I think I'll be doing a double mani from now on to get through them faster.

Glo Off is a metallic olive or peridot green. Three coats here but only needed 2. (I always do 3.) Like the rest of this collection it does NOT have any shift despite the name, but... just look at that gorgeous color. I didn't mess with the saturation on the picture or use any filters, that's just how it looks.

The Best Combo is a bright chocolate brown shimmer. Three coats needed for full opacity. Is that not the prettiest brown you ever saw? The shimmer in this has a lot of dimension that makes it look alive, or lit from within - unlike all the other brown shimmer polishes out there, which look flat and dull. No brand seems to put love into their browns, and it's a shame.

I kind of regret doing the double mani now, since I adore both of these colors so much that I think they each deserved a full mani. Also I hate showing my dominant hand now that I look at it... it's hideous compared to my "show hand"... lumps everywhere 😭 And my hublet hated having to take these pics because I needed both hands in the pic.... Now I'm reconsidering the whole idea...

My question is: WHY?!?

We already know from swatches (and come on, just from looking at the bottles) that these are in no way duochromes and have absolutely no color shift. What was the point of releasing a line of plain metallics and blowing smoke up our asses? Why not just market it as a line of metallics? That could have sold perfectly well, instead of pissing people off by lying to them and insulting their intelligence.

I'm smitten with this color. It came in last week, and as soon as I swatched it on my swatch wheel I knew this one was skipping ahead in line to be my next mani. It was love at first swatch. I can't really explain it.

HOWEVER... do you see how much polish I used in one mani?!? WTF is that?! You see where it's down to, right? Where my ring finger nail is? I had to question whether I was going crazy and didn't get a used bottle, but I'm certain I didn't because I shook up all my untrieds a few days ago so I would have noticed! Personally I don't care because there's no chance I'll ever finish a bottle of any one polish, so I don't need much volume... but I am so confused. How can three regular-thickness coats eat up THAT much polish?!

I'm removing my husband as an authorized user on my 9-month-old Citi Custom Cash because it's bringing down his accounts age and has very high utilization; I don't want it dropping his score, as he has old account age with big credit lines and ~3% utilization without it. As you can see, Citi cards belonging to an authorized user stay active even after the user is removed. They're active until they expire.

This is important because in most cases when you're removing an AU, you don't want them using your card anymore. So don't add an AU to your Citi card unless you trust them unconditionally, or you're able to grab their card and shred it when you remove them. (But that won't do anything if they've added it to their digital wallets or they have the card number and CVV.)

This is also useful if you want to give someone a card to your account with their name on it, but you don't want it reporting to their credit file. Like in my case, where the card is probably a negative on my husband's file. You can add them as an AU, give them the card, then remove them, and the card will still work.

Citi will let you add back an AU after you've removed them, unlike Capital One.

Don't bother with this stuff, and if you already bought it, take it back for a refund. Yes, they will give you a refund even if you opened it.

I tried one, then two, then three coats of it. Same thing no matter how many coats. This junk sticks to your skin like a thin layer of Krazy Glue. If will not peel off or scratch off no matter what you do. You have to scrub it furiously with a towel to get it to come off, which defeats the purpose because your whole mani will be ruined if you do that.

I have no idea how this ended up on the shelves. Did no one quality check this stuff or is it just a straight-up scam?! And I know I'm not the only one, because there's a Youtube video where they had the same experience.

Apparently Elmer's Glue can be used for the same purpose, and I imagine it works much better.
