Why jump to an unknown ship?

Why would you move to a Gen 1 Device and User Interface? Good luck with Google Support.

I assume the FitBit air will be the screenless equivalent of a Pixel Watch paired with FitBit Premium. Anyone testing that against Whoop?

Don't think for a minute that next year there won't be a tiered subscription.

I'm not here defending Whoop. Their support sucks and they lied to original customers, like myself.

Are we expecting perfection from a non medical grade device?

Govee smart lamps too bright

Does Anyone feel like 1% brightness is more like 50%. In our primary bathroom I dim generic Amazon lamps to 5% and it feels like 5%.

Assuming the data is correct. Which, based on how I feel, I believe it is. I find it funny that you can do everything right and have a crap recovery but then have a great recovery after chocolate cake paired with a white Monster. We got crazy after our date night 🤣

An HRV of 43 is high for me and yesterday's strain was low.

Here are the Whoop's AI thoughts:

A night like you described can sometimes improve recovery scores because of combinations like:

Higher carb intake → replenished glycogen → lower overnight cortisol/stress response

Psychological relaxation from date night → lower sympathetic nervous system activation

Calorie surplus → body perceives less stress/famine

Enjoyment/social connection → measurable parasympathetic effects

Earlier or deeper sleep from being mentally relaxed

Even sex/intimacy can improve autonomic balance in some people

The Navigator band looks great and well designed. But with not having elastic properties or anything to grip the skin it slides right down your wrist. Functionally garbage

My son has a 2023 Mazda 3 that needed to be jump started. It currently has the OEM battery, but he believes it has already been changed once.

He was able to drive home, about 30 miles without issue. About 24 hours later, before starting, the battery read 11.3 volts. I put it on a battery charger and was immediately able to start. The volts jumped to 13.1.

I found the following using my scan tool - Mazda DTC U3003: 16-08

The voltage leveled out to 12.6 and when pressing the accelerator I could watch it climb to about ~13.5.

Should I assume the battery or is the alternator output weak?

After turning the car off, the battery was at 12.1.

Just adding that all testing was done with the AC cranking. It's Florida 😁

Went to a concert last night and woke with a 94% recovery. First saw this band (Jason isbell and the 400 unit) in 2013 or 14. I guarantee you I didn't have a 94% recovery. After the concert we even needed to "teleport" our grandson from his house to ours 💪🏼

Over this past winter, we live in Central Florida, my grandson and I started transitioning from car camping to backpacking.

We had some colder nights this winter and our sleeping pads have R values of ~5.7 and 4.9.

Last night it was on the warmer side with a low around 64 and even with the tent open it was warmer inside.

Only from a comfort POV and not weight, do most people switch to a low R value pad in the summer? I assume the pad was radiating my body heat back, which made for what I think should have been a more comfortable night.
