Wrap or ceramic coating for exhaust on a 2005 R1?

Just picked this bike up for an awesome price.

I was aware the R1 exhaust heats up the seat, but didn't realize how much heat it would be until I rode this home yesterday for an hour and half.

It would probably be a nice feature to have in the winter, but for this California summer, I want to keep my ass cooler.

What is the best way to do this? Heat shield, wrap the mid pipe, ceramic coating the pipe?

I have ridden a CBR 600RR with the exhaust under the seat, but i dont remember it getting as hot as this R1. So, this is something I haven't done before.

2003 R6 issues with TPS

I have having issues getting my 2003 R6 to run properly.

​

I had some issues with bogging, stalling when stopped, exhaust popping, and overheating.

​

I put the bike in diagnostic mode, and on setting one you can run the check for the TPS.

​

The closed throttle reading is supposed to be at 15 - 19 in diag mode, and full throttle is supposed to be close to 100.

​

I can get the closed throttle to be at 15 - 19, but the open throttle isn't going pass 84.

​

I have rotated the TPS, but the closed throttle ends up being near 40 for me to get the open throttle at 104.

​

I bought a used TPS, thinking it would fix the issue, but it is reading the exact same. Granted, it is used, but i just feel like the issue isn't with the TPS.

​

Butterflies on throttle body all open up all the way. Throttle cable pull and return are good.

​

I feel like I have checked most of the things this issue could be, but im still getting the same readings in diagnostic mode.

Is there something that I am missing?

Bike needs some love. It was dropped by the first owner, title was lost by the second owner. Fork seals are getting replaced this week along with the dry rotted tire. FI light on, chain streached further than I have ever seen. But the bike starts and rides. Fuck it... $1500! Im getting a bonded title for it.
