Couldn’t believe I received this email shortly after launching my app on the App Store, but as a new app builder, I’m really curious and wandering if anyone else has received the same message.
If so, what happened next? Did Apple eventually contact you about being featured, or is this something they send fairly commonly?
After months of building, fixing bugs, dealing with Google Play requirements, and submitting the requested changes, I thought I was finally getting somewhere with my app, Talk To Somebody.
Then I opened Google Play Console and saw what’s in the screenshot:
App status: Removed by Google
Update status: In review
The “In review” part gives me some hope because I've already submitted the requested fixes, but seeing “Removed by Google” right next to it has me confused.
Does this mean Google is currently reviewing my fixes and the app can be reinstated if everything passes?
Or am I misunderstanding these two statuses and there’s something else I need to do?
Anyone who has gone through a Google Play removal/review process before — I’d really appreciate hearing what happened in your case.
“Removed by Google” + “In review” — good sign or bad sign?
Google Play developers: Have you seen this before? Can someone explain what’s happening with my Google Play app? Should I be worried about this? Give up? I’m lost, confused and not sure what to do.
