Business & startup group in Harrogate

I run a digital business in tech / startup (SaaS / AI). New here.

If you are a business owner or are considering being an entrepreneur, and looking to connect with likeminded people in your local area, feel free to leave a comment and I will make a WhatsApp group

If there’s any other groups or investor conferences as well I’d be interested in learning more !

Does anyone else feel non autistic trapped in an autistic body?

I’m going through a process of awakening with my mild / “high functioning” autism and, it feels like I’m still conscious like anyone else (maybe arguably more conscious as I’m so self aware.. and “condescending”).

However, it feels like my interface to everyone else is broken or different. Inflexible. It’s like I have the capacity to be conscious and there and here like anyone else but in terms of how I express the there-ness and here-ness is just different.

Like everything comes out incredibly formal. Like every conversation is a logical deduction. But there’s still me behind all of that. It’s just that i am unable to be fluid in the way that others generally are.

No amount of social skills or experience or maturity will ever fix that. It’s kinda hard for me to reconcile with. It’s like I want to shout so loud to cross the barrier my neural pathways have prevented me from connecting with other people by.

It’s like to be myself I have to almost unlearn all the skills and rehearsals

Does this resonate?

Slightly high creatinine but no protein in urine

Does anyone know why? I’m not on creatine supplements or have any huge muscle mass. Any ideas? eFGR is in 70s, I’m 27.

normal urea & protein. Just high creatinine.

Just found out normal people hold eye contact for 30-60% of a conversation. I can manage maybe 2-5%.

I thought when I held eye contact for 5-10 seconds this was quite long time. Apparently normal people do this for 30-60% of an entire conversation.
