INTPs respond

Direct question: Which MBTI type do you usually find most romantically attractive? Why? Is there a pattern?

I don't know if cognitive functions could somehow explain it. The type of person I'm most romantically attracted to are ESTJs, even though I've never seen an INTP in love with ESTJs.

Is this happening to anyone else?

So, first of all, hello. I'm an INTP here, and I wanted to know if other INTPs have ever experienced the same thing.

Like, of course, an INTP's problem isn't universally "a problem for all INTPs." But there's this thing: I've spent my 20s so far rarely talking about my feelings. So, someone I really like asks if I'm okay, and I feel immense internal irritation (??). But I won't show it because I know I'll freeze up or distort the situation.

ENTP or INFJ? Or another?

So, this isn't even the first time I've had a question like this. But I needed to know someone else's perspective.

I see that many people talk about ENTP and INFJ being almost opposites, but in reality I feel a bit like a 'mixture of both'. I know you can't have two 'MBTI types', and I understood this after spending five years trying to understand MBTI better. I think I can share my relationship with Cognitive Functions with you.

I'm a woman, currently typed as INFJ, and I think I have good reasons to be torn between INFJ and ENTP. Since I started reading about cognitive functions, I've felt quite familiar with both types. I've always found myself self-analyzing and analyzing others, their words and behaviors, trying to understand everyone's feelings and motivations for everything, but this happens most of the time only in my mind or I share it with people I truly trust. If I'm listening to a friend vent about a bad day or situation, I first try to calm their feelings and validate them, and then I try to offer solutions that I think will work for them and anyone else involved. I have a genuine difficulty caring as much as others sometimes, even though I do care about the people close to me. I'm also very curious, which is reflected in how I'm always looking at someone's social media or following a friend around town. My creativity also comes hand in hand with my curiosity. I really enjoy writing and can spend hours engrossed in it.

People very close to me may see me as someone who sometimes longs to find a solution quickly. For example, if a best friend finds out his girlfriend is cheating on him, one of the first things I might do is tell him how he can act, before calming his feelings. Sometimes this confuses them because of the accumulation of emotions at the moment, and that's when I withdraw. I prefer to resolve a conflict quickly rather than get too involved in the situation in the long run.

I'm also very curious. This is reflected in how I'm always looking at someone's social media, following a friend around town. My creativity also comes hand in hand with my curiosity. I really enjoy writing and can spend hours engrossed in it. In school, I was the type of person who, if you gave me a sheet of paper with 20 lines to write a text, I would still add two lines at the bottom to continue my argument.

Note: I haven't closed myself off to other possibilities. I want to know, from the community, how you see this from a Cognitive Functions perspective.
