I bought this magnifying lamp for my PBN projects, after seeing some of you all's posts about them.
Oh my God, the tiny numbers are now visible! How did I survive without this?

I'm preparing my planters for fall tomato planting. I usually mix in composted vow poo, but I wonder if mushroom compost would be better?
I live in Central Florida.

Just turned dark yesterday.

The chrysalis was green yesterday, and Empty this morning. I found him in my pentas.
My yellow swallowtail chrysalis went from bright green to almost see-thru yesterday, I'm thinking he/she may be coming out soon!
My parsley was full of the caterpillars.

I cut down a bunch of my basil today, to make a batch of pesto. I picked up one of the stems, and found this guy/girl, hence the name. Tied him up to the structure with a length of dental floss.
I could obsess over all the mistakes I made, and go back and correct them, but I'm not going to.
I learned a lot on this one!

One of my swallowtail caterpillars made the journey from my parsley to my sunflowers yesterday, and had been here since.
I'm thinking he's going to cocoon up here?

This one was still in a very green chrysalis yesterday in the afternoon.

This fatty guy moved from my milkweed to my rosemary this morning. I'm thinking he's looking for a place to hang and become a chrysalis?
