Help me discover Croatian music

Bok!

I live in Croatia since 3 months now, really love everything there, from history to language. But I still haven't listen that much Croatian music outside of some old people band singing in a train for 1h (it was great tho)

Any recommandations? I love everything from traditional to recent - also would like to try some "traditional folklore" music, is there famous bands?

Anything reco is welcome :)

Ordering at the restaurant/pekara like a local

Hello there!

French guy here and living in Zagreb since 3 months! My learning is going pretty well I'd say as every croatian I met is complimenting my level

However I still find it rather difficult to "properly" order in restaurant for instance

I feel like I overuse "želim ..." compared to locals, is there any other way of ordering something? I feel like "hoču" is a bit rude.

Is using accusative the only way? (for example when I order a coffee I just say "kavu s mliekom molim") But I'm not yet at the level of knowing of to use accusative form on every word.

I sometimes heard locals ordering using "Može ..." but I don't understand what comes after

I don't know at all if it is clear haha but any help to improve my croatian is welcome!!

First test - Urban Zagreb photography

Bok!
First time doing urban photography and trying to find beauty in ugly buildings haha! Hope you like it as much as I like these buildings and Zagreb in general

If you know other places with "picturesque ugly" buildings (if that makes any sense) your reccomendations are welcome!
Here it was mainly Srednjaci / Kockica / Travno if I remember correctly

Any recommandation for a 3 days trip around Banja Luka?

Dobar dan bosanski prijatelji!

I'm French but live in Zagreb since few months now and wanted to visit Banja Luka and surroundings for a 3 full day weekend! I already been to Sarajevo and Mostar 2 years ago and really wanted to return in BiH as I loved very much your country, so I got the idea to visit more "underated" place here, also it's the closest one from Zagreb hehe

I got told that Banja Luka isn't very interesting for tourism for more than 1 day, do you think only 1 day here will be enough? Any recommendation?

Otherwise I had Jajce in mind, and Krupa on the way here - but as I don't have a car, is there any public buses to and from Jajce/Krupa on the same day?

Any other place near Banja Luka I should check? (ideally without a car, but I can hitchhike haha)

Also I was curious, as Banja Luka is one of the biggest city in BiH, is it populated only by serbs nowadays or is the population a bit more mixed?

Hvala na odgovori i ugodan dan!! 😄
