Learned a bit with my Dominus about how to not ruin my paint job with my matte varnish, so maybe my upcoming Questoris will go a bit better! Haha

If I don’t have access to any magnets right now, but will for my second Questoris, and enjoy a playstyle that includes Armigers (but most likely not Armiger spam; 4-6 max), which Questoris is your favorite pick for a one and done? No customization.
Got inspired by that plucky little Helverin bouncing about in the Noble Lance battle scenes. 😄 Run, little dude!!
I really don’t know if I want to hit it with the matte varnish…I probably should. But the gloss that remains on the panels is purrty.
House Hawkshroud. Lots more to do, and still learning how to manage my panel liner better, but psyched with how it’s turning out so far! Can I get some simple-ish ideas for basing? I’m no slouch, but but I’m not looking to create a whole scene or anything. Thanks!
Playing my buddy’s Chaos Knights for the first time this weekend. Gotta get my Fusillade on!
I wish I had brightened up the inner cape before using the Aethermatic Blue contrast. There are literally 4 coats of it on there, and still not much saturation; it’s quite thin. But oh well! Learning for next time.
(Any tips against CK?)
This bad boy put in the *work* in my last game, playing Armoured Speartip. Pushed my Eradicators around in it so they could send the pain together, Same-Day Shipping! 🤣
Secondaries that require you to perform actions are a bit easier to complete, because of the hidden rule.
Abilities and Stratagems that give you a +1 to hit, and utilizing plunging fire, are almost mandatory. Cover is pretty easy to get on Hammer/Anvil maps, especially for vehicles, since there’s not a lot of room to expand laterally.
Hidden is a fantastic rule that really only serves to eliminate alpha strike feelsbad. Since nearly all the Primaries and Secondaries tend to force everyone into NML, Hidden isn’t really a significant hurdle.
RepEx’s *put in work*! And Precision really is powerful.

Running these bad boys for the first time this evening. I look forward to failing every single one of their armor saves! 🤣
Now with real-life Tactical Rocks™️! 🤣
Unless someone can set me straight, the Repulsor’s ability to allow a unit to embark if it’s targeted by a charge does not contain the “this can still happen if a unit disembarked this turn” phrase.
So Burning Vengeance has now become a way to just throw your Hellblasters/Infernus/Eradicators into your opponent’s meat grinder, if you ever use it.
I usually paint my characters green, regardless of the official colorings. But damn…Chaplains go hard in their official scheme.
Help me out. Does my diagram (second image) describe how Cover works in 11th? Attacking unit on the left, targeted unit on the right.
So 4 of the attacking unit’s models can clearly see the targeted unit’s models out in the breeze. No cover for those 4 models.
But 2 of the attacking unit’s models have their LOS at least partially-obscured to every enemy model, so those 2 models get the -1 to BS for their attacks.
And 1 model can’t shoot, because LOS is totally cut off.
Is all that correct?
Didn’t spend a bunch of time on this, because it was mainly a test for my airbrush, and I’m convinced that the land raider is getting refreshed in this edition sometime. (Please let me be happy with my copium, everyone) But she’s ready to burn something, damnit!
