Twilight of the Gods is Happening in this Essay I will

Apologies, I am still at work and I have had not had the proper time to fixate but alas! I have been going down Norse Mythology rabbit holes (mainly because of the Valkyrie of it all). Also, hopefully I am not rehashing old theories.

I ended up on the Gotterdammerung (twilight of the gods) Wiki. It is the last of 4 parts of an epic musical drama (which in it self is made of 4 parts:prologue, act 1, act 2, act 3). With all of the musical references in the titles she could be nodding to this body of work.

The plot has lots of threads of fate imagery, connections to Valkyrie, etc etc. (I haven’t been able to delve into the plot much more than that, apparently it diverges from traditional Norse mythology a fair bit BUT

It premiered (is that the right word? Idk) exactly 150 years ago today, according to Wikipedia. We know SJM loves to take a page out of TS. But this doesn’t feel coincidental.

ETA: Bloomsbury is calling it the Valkyrie Cycle furthering bolstering the connection to this body of work.

8.5 Reloved Drop was good to me

Still waiting on my Reloved Empire 28 in Honey to arrive, but I have been on the hunt for a Vanilla Chelsea 30 for the longest. I had a dream last night that she arrived all scratched and busted, but she is here and she is perfect.

Also how cute is the green Rexy, I picked this charm up too. A little confused why he says he is suede though. It’s def a smooth leather. 😭 but I still love him, flaws and all. 💕

And the Remade Dino is so cute too 🥹

Just bought the Trail 15 in Scarlett from Dillards

She’s so cute and smol. Fits a small wallet, lip gloss, keys, and not much else. iPhone 17 does not fit. But in this color way and the brass crossbody strap, she is perfect. ♥️

No box, no padding to protect it in shipping , no dust bag, just a mailer and a dream. Second pic was the entire contents of the package. I’m assuming it was a return, they didn’t even zipper it back up 😭

7.1 Drop (Re)loved Purchases

Baby’s first drop! I didn’t have any new bags in mind, but I was curious what the (re)loved section would have in store for me. And it did not disappoint! So excited to add these two beauties to my collection. Also, I think I have a type 😉
