I am experiencing a technical desync with my primary account u/trustme_im_real (created in February, 6k karma). About 24 days ago, the account encountered a system-wide restriction by mistake. Two days later after I submitted appeal, I received an official notification from Reddit confirming the restriction was an error and stating that full access had been restored.

However, 22 days later, the profile remains locked & account suspended. The red restricted banner is still visible on the profile, and attempting to vote or comment triggers an error prompt. It appears the account status failed to update correctly in the database.

Additionally, a secondary profile u/trustme_im_introvert linked to the same email address was swept up in the same initial automated action. While the primary profile received the official restoration notice, the secondary profile did not, which might be causing a database conflict that is keeping both profiles stuck.

I have submitted inquiries via standard channels but have not received a response. Since I can still log into both accounts, is there a specific way to request a manual database refresh from the engineering team to resolve this stuck status?

The issue persists irrespective of whether logged in from Mobile app or Mobile Web or Desktop web. Similar issue has been reported by other users as well. There genuinely seems to be an issue with reddit server sync for account status. Relevant screenshots from the account u/trustme_im_real are attached from both android app and desktop web.

The account from which I am posting has been created anew today with the same email id associated with both the above mentioned reddit accounts.

My primary reddit account got permanently banned by mistake by the reddit auto filters 26 days ago, and 22 days ago I received the notification message from reddit saying that the ban was a mistake and it has been lifted. However, I am still unable to use that account because the red banner "This account is permanently banned" is still there and whenever I try to upvote or comment, I receive the prompt "This account is suspended".

I've been patiently waiting for the system to refresh the account status as I understand it could be a glitch. I created this account in February and I've earned 6K karma in just 3 months with positive contributions and I don't want to lose it.

I also have a secondary account which was created a month after creating the original primary account and these were created using the same email id. The second account was no way an attempt to evade the ban on the primary account as it was created long before the primary account got banned.

At once the primary account got banned, shortly after few hours the secondary account also got permanently banned stating the account association, and I guess Reddit mistakenly flagged it as an attempt to evade the ban on the primary account when I switched the profile in reddit app after the ban.

The secondary account have no karma and barely have any contribution. It had only 3 comment contributions and there was no further activity on this secondary account. However, it was banned because of same email id association. I did receive the unban message from reddit for the primary account 2 days after the ban but for the secondary account, I haven't received the unban message from reddit yet.

It has been 22 days since receipt of this unban message on the primary account but both the accounts are still suspended / banned till date. I made appeal on both the accounts on three different occasions using the reddit support but I haven't received any response from reddit.

Pls note that the primary account had active engagement since its creation in February and got banned / suspended twice in the past for 3 days and 7 days respectively for some comments before it got the permanent ban by mistake on April. I assumed that the ban may be in effect for 2 weeks or more this time since the suspension period was incrementally increased in the last 2 times.

I couldn't get by accounts unbanned till date. What are my options except abandoning them entirely (which is not a preferred option for me).

Is there any possibility at all that I can gain access to both my accounts? Any support would be really appreciated. Peace.
