okay so for psych im predicted an A* and normally im so good at it but all the exams have gone so bad. paper 1 i missed out a 3 marker and got the 7 mark stats question wrong, probably also made some stupid errors here and there where i lost marks. paper 2 i literally lost like probably 10 marks in research methods at least for stupid mistakes and i def dropped marks elsewhere cos i never get full marks on essays, i need an A for uni i hate this
so in my design a study i said i would use a natural experiment cos it has high mundane realism as students would perform how they normally would so high ecological validity and i said i could manipulate the iv while the participants are in their natural setting… i just realised i mixed up a field and natural experiment… how cooked am i
Okay so in out stem apparently ali was a girl but i referred to her as ‘he’ in my answer, i made it explicit i was speaking about ali when i was linking my answer back to the case study but i wrote ‘he’ in some areas, will i lose marks?
these past two years ive been working so hard i literally cant study anymore i feel like it’s never enough i haven’t left my house for the past 3 days and have stayed in my pyjamas this whole time just locking in, i’ve actually never been more exhausted in my life and i dont want to do exams, i have psych paper one on friday and actually feel like dropping out
I do want to say this might be a bit of a biased view because I do like Madison’s music and have for many years now, but I find people criticising her for not having a brand really exhausting. I might be reading too much into it, but people want her to lean into the sultry, dark feminine, and ‘siren’ aesthetic like in her make you mine music video. I can’t help but feel like it’s weird that people encourage her to sexualise herself in order to be successful. And before you say ‘no one is asking her to’ I’ve seen many people say how she can lean into her looks to help her brand’. Why do women need to be seen as ‘sexy’ to appeal to the masses? Not shading anyone like Sabrina Carpenter, if that is what she wants to do I couldn’t care less and actually have enjoyed her rebrand.
On the other hand there are also people saying that she’s just a pretty girl who wants to make music, like why is that used as an insult? People may think of her music as boring and like a copy of Ariana Grande - fine we all have different music tastes, but her vocals speak for herself. She is obviously talented and serious about music! And it is perfectly normal to take inspiration from other artists. Ariana Grande for example is heavily influenced by Imogen Heap. I am also a huge fan of Ariana, know every song and am seeing her in concert. If you listened to Madison’s album silence between songs, you would realise that it doesn’t sound very close to Ariana’s work, particularly tracks like king of everything and envy the leaves! Obviously locket uses a lot of layering so is similar to some of Ariana’s work, but people saying Madison’s whole discography is just a copy paste of Ariana’s music is completely false, especially when half these people hating have only listened to locket and no other albums! I just think all this hate is so unjustified.
