My hotel is down a dead end street and unfortunately had a double fatality car accident at the intersection coming out of the hotel. All through traffic was shut down no ETA on reopening. Best advice the officer gave was park at an abandoned gas station and walk my way to the hotel. I told him politely to hold my beer!

I recently left my 7-year state DOC job and am currently working contract detention. I'm starting to look into some of the new facilities opening up in Texas, especially with all the recent DHS funding and expansion plans.
Does anyone have any contacts or recommendations for contractors operating DHS/ICE detention facilities in Texas? Honestly, I'm open to opportunities in other states too.
I've applied with Akima and GardaWorld since they seem to hold some of the larger contracts, but I haven't had much luck getting traction through the online application process. (El Paso, and Guantanamo)
If anyone has experience with these contracts, knows which companies are hiring, or has any recruiter contacts, I'd appreciate any insight.
