Just got a RTT for my 4runner and im looking at all campsites near me (bay area- norcal) and everywhere is full through september (weekends). Where am i supposed to go test out my RTT? Even for 1 night like fri-sat?
Where do you guys go. I wonder if you can stop in the middle of less traveled highways overnight pull over (if safe) and camp overnight?

I really want a 4runner for outdoor camping and road trips etc. im going to be having to use 2 car seats soon (rn have 1). So hows the second row space for 2 car seats. No leather seats so long car rides can be doable but not as nice as newer models like 2015 onwards etc. also il have to put in new apple car play system too
This came up locally to me and maybe i can try this out for few years and sell it for a newer version?
Thoughts on price and what type of maintenance costs would be coming up soon due to year and mileage?
