Owl father the strongest boss in the game?

I am on my first playthrough atm and this guy was the hardest for me and took over lady butterfly in terms of difficulty for me. After beating lady butterfly the game became pretty much a breeze for me just cuz how difficult she was. And now the owl father was the hardest boss I’ve faced in this game. I’ve heard of sword saint isshin being the hardest boss but many people say owl father is. Pls help me settle this debate for me. Who is more difficult owl father or isshin the sword saint. I actually counted how many deaths I had with owl father and it was 40. Whilst with lady butterfly it was 30.

I finished Nioh 1 December 2025 and now playing my first fromsoftware game sekiro shadow die twice. I am still early in the game. Am about to go to the rooftop of ashina castle and fight inner genichiro. I’ve noticed that playing Nioh has made me feel like Sekiro is relatively easy. But then again I know it’s not easy cuz I’ve only just started. I was able to beat lady butterfly with relative ease. I struggled with hino enma and yuki onna more from Nioh 1 than in sekiro so far.
This got me thinking which game is harder. It can be combat, mechanics and anything else. I just want to know the overall. For me so far I’d say Sekiro is much more satisfying in battle but Nioh is harder in a way ( I might be wrong. I haven’t fought headless or any of the later guys yet) let me know what u guys think.

I played ghost and finished it, but I have not played iki island. And absolutely loved it and now I have started to play sekiro and I only played two hours into the first game and I am absolutely a fan so far. I wanted to know what other others sort of the comparison between sekiro and ghost. The combat in both games are absolutely phenomenal as well as the cinematics however for me ghost has the better cinematics but combat wise I can’t really decide I might have to lean towards ghost. Let me know what your opinion is.
