It Brutto lived up to its name

Server was pretty attentive, kind and did an overall fine job.

The bread was basically pizza crust with olive oil and spices.

Broccolini was surprisingly good. Roasted with a perfect char, just right.

Lasagne was really not so good. Flat, and had a weird crunch to it. Realized there was 'char' like you'd see on the edge of pizza, all over the sides. What was perfect in the broccolini was not welcome in the lasagne. Not sure what they did to get this but made the dish 'gritty' in my mouth. Also left me with a weirdo aftertaste in general from an herb I couldn't place. For $30 was not what I was expecting.

Homemade citrus soda had a distinctly bitter taste, not sweet but more like an aspartame sweetness from a diet drink.

Saving grace for this place was the dark chocolate gelato. Some of the best ive had.

Could use a good cleaning. Cobwebs in the corner about a foot up my dining partner's head. Hard not to notice.

$100 should get you a lot better.

Driskill Grill

Went to the reopened Driscoll Grill, and was completely impressed. It felt like an old school steakhouse, and I feel that the food was surprisingly inventive.

The crabcake was set in a bur Blanc, which I've never had before, but was very delicious with some roasted tomatoes.

Wagyu strip was cooked, medium rare to perfection.

The chocolate cake was not my favorite, but we also ordered the Keylime pie for the table, and I will be returning just to get the Keylime pie again in the future.

Losing power

23 Primavera, 50cc.

I've noticed when I take the same route but a week after week that I'm struggling to get up the same hill I did the prior week. My weight does not change nor has the weight on the Vespa.

3k miles, recent oils change. Tires inflated to rec PSI. Premium gasoline only.

What should I do next to fix this?
