I’m looking for advice from Pakistani lawyers regarding my plot in Bahria Golf City Islamabad, M Block.
I bought the plot through an official Bahria Town Golf City agent a few years ago. At the time, development was ongoing and I was promised possession around June 2025. I paid around PKR 60 lakh out of the total price of approximately PKR 1.47 crore.
However, development in M Block completely stopped. The block is currently just undeveloped/naked land with no construction or infrastructure. I never received possession.
Because there was no progress, I stopped paying the remaining installments. My official Bahria agent also advised me to stop paying because there was no development.
With the ongoing issues surrounding Bahria Town/Malik Riaz, I’m also being told that transfers and sale/purchase of these plots have been stopped for the last few years.
I want the plot, but realistically I don’t know when I’ll ever get possession. I bought it to eventually build my house, and I’m still living on rent.
Is there any legal way to recover the PKR 60 lakh I have already paid, given that possession was promised but never delivered and the block remains completely undeveloped?
Also, does stopping the installments hurt my case, especially since the official agent advised me to stop paying?
Would really appreciate advice from lawyers familiar with Bahria/property disputes.

I’m looking for people who have plots or files in Bahria Golf City (Murree Expressway/Islamabad) and are also affected by the current situation.
I bought a file through an agent around 3–4 years ago. At that time, the area was actively developing, and I could literally see construction and development happening every day, so I had no reason to think there would be a major issue.
Then development suddenly stopped, and since then the situation has basically been stuck. The agent is now telling us that sale/purchase and transfers have been stopped for around two years.
I have around 70 lakh PKR invested in this file, so obviously I’m quite worried about what happens to that money.
For anyone who already owns a Golf City plot/file:
What do you think is actually going to happen?
Is there any realistic way to recover the money?
Has anyone successfully gotten a refund, cancellation, transfer, or settlement?
Are there any active groups/lawyers/owner associations working on behalf of affected owners?
Has anyone received any recent official information from Bahria Town or the authorities?
I’m specifically looking to connect with other affected owners, not property dealers trying to sell something. If you’re in the same situation, please comment or DM me. I’d really appreciate hearing what you’ve been told and what steps you’re taking.

Aoa, I have a budget of 5-5.5 lacs, please guide me on which bike should i choose. My requirements are good resale price, after sales services, and minimum of 150cc engine. The options i see are Honda cb150f, cg150 and infinity 150.
There is also a new brand launched in pakistan called Royal Gpx, is it better to wait for that since they are offering a 200cc bike for 5.4 lacs?
