Tooth brushing

Hi all my 2 year old is really struggling with tooth brushing.
We hold her in the crucifix pose (arms stretched out and under our thighs) and she used to happily open her mouth or giggle at tickles so we could brush
But the last 6 months has been a steady slide into really chomping her mouth closed, screaming (although annoyingly somehow with her mouth closed) and spitting/foaming.
We hate seeing her so upset but know it’s obviously our duty to take care of her health needs so it’s a non negotiable.
We manage maybe 30-60 seconds before stopping and she stands up and says sorry to us (unprompted almost like we did it as a punishment) and asks for hugs. Then she’s fine and back to reading a book.

Basically how can we make it not such a big event but still get her brushed? It’s not even like we’re able to brush them properly so something needs to change!

Thanks in advance x

Books for Michaelmas

Hello everyone, looking for some nice new books for Michaelmas this year, happy for them to be traditional (slain dragons) or modern (misunderstood/friendly) or just generally about bravery

Thank you x

Is it for me? SAHM

I’m really keen to find a spiritual and intentional life (yet I am a non believer) so thought TAW would be interesting as it’s been so transformative for lots of people
However I am a stay at home mum to 2 under 2 and I like to do crafty bits and bobs (for example this week I’ve made a Cinderella doll, some trousers and a felt mouse for my toddler) but I’m not “stuck” I’m more just wanting something deeper that’s about me rather than my mothering. I find being a mum extremely rewarding and I’m very very happy in my life so I’m kind of wondering if I will find TAW useful?
Like i don’t feel sad or unfulfilled 🙈

Any advice would be greatly appreciated x
