My family doctor had referred me to a consultant who visits their office once a week.

Today I saw the consultant and in the end I saw that they have been recording our conversations in their system. But until now, not my family doctor, nor the consultant have not asked for consent on recording.

They first said that, yes they’re recording and it’s a normal practice and is mostly used for transcription… even my family doctor does it. Upon asking what do you do with the voice notes after transcription, they were unsure on what is done after that. And then changed their answer to it’s not recorded.

I am usually fine with the voice notes, and I am certain that it’s in the secured system. But it still makes me bit uncomfortable especially these days as there are a lot of data breaches. Is this a normal practice?

Appreciate your help in advance.

Hello,

My original battery was replaced under warranty 6 months back by the dealership with an 600 CCA AGM battery. They mentioned that AGM battery is supposed to be more powerful and can handle the electronics running in the background while car’s off.

But this new battery is showing signs of a weak battery too. In the morning, I can hear the sluggish start. And I try to not use Auto stop function, but if I forget to turn it off by any chance, the starts are sluggish too.

My car has about 35k miles which is right about the average, I think. I dont use it for commute, and is mostly used during the weekends and road trips.

The 3 yr warranty is about to expire in a couple of weeks, so I want to know what are my options if the new AGM battery dies after warranty period ends? Is there any warranty specific to the battery which they might have? I was hoping that new battery would last for a couple of years atleast, but seems like may not the case? Has anyone else face a similar issue with battery?

Appreciate your help in advance.
